ok. so i've had my belly button pierced for about 6 months and never had any problems with it. but lately theres this like...i dunno what to call it. it looks like a healing scab over the bottom hole. its not on the hole. its right above it. im not sure if its like infected or what. i've been cleaning it like crazy and im trying to be really careful with it. i just don't know what it is. if you have any idea what it might be, i'd like to hear it. =]]
a picture would help, but it sounds like jsut a plain piercing bump. it could be a fluid filled abcess or just a random nub (i have no idea why they happen). does it hurt and it it oozing? if not, then it isnt infected. i get them on every piercing i try to heal. its really not a big deal and it should go away but it might leave some scar tissue. if it is just an ordinary bump, my advice it to apply tea tree essential oil every day with a q-tip untill it shrinks. if its hard at that point and doesnt want to totaly dissapear, massage it with jojoba or similar oil at least once a day. anyway, try to post a pic and ill tell you if its what i always get.
yeah it doesn't ooze but it hurts alittle.but it only hurts when im waking up or something like that. i wonder if i changed my jewelery if that might help. iono. ill try and buy some of that tea tree oil. thanks =]]
