being attacked in my sleep

i always have dreams that some guy is breaking into my house and trying to attack me. what could this mean?

 

I'm not an expert...but maybe it's an underlying fear that pops up during your sleep.

 

I would think that it means that you have feelings of insecurity and helpnessness.

 

The first thing that comes to mind is invasion of privacy, do you feel someone is intruding on your "turf" or butting in where they don't belong?
