Beginner's Questions

What do I need to know if I'm going to start the sweet leaf? What terms should I know when talking to dealers? What equipment will I need (pipes, rolling papers, etc)? Where might it be safe to hide my stuff?

I've done 3-3 1/2 years of research on the effects (most of my info is from unbiased resources) and laws, so I have a good idea what could happen to me.

I'm not going into this completely blind, but I still need and want suggestions from users.

Damn, thats a good one. Do you have any friends who smoke weed? That could help you... Thats where about everybody gets there start. Thats the only advice i can give. I know a ton of other people who'll come on here and give you tips and what not but im not goin to do that, cause its different every where you go. and if you've done research you should already have an idea about some terms and what not... Well hide you stuff where ever you think it wont be found. Everybodys parents and home is different... A good pipe is about all you need. Really its easy and if its small you can hide it easily. Or if you can roll papers easy to hide and get rid of if need be. Tell us what you know and maybe i can help you more

 

I have a ton of friends who smoke. One of my friends can easily hook me up with a legit dealer. I mostly need help on terms for different measures of grass (dime bag, lid, etc.). I don't know what a lot of them mean. I know how to construct a bong, and have already made three that will work in theory. I also need help on how much to order.

I know how it can effect the body (long and short term effects), and I know basic stuff about what the plant actually is and which parts contain the most THC.

 

I don't want to order a ton of leaf my first time.

 

if you want 10 dollars worth its a dime and nickelbag is 5 and a gram will be around 15-20 dollars usually. an eighth of an ounce is around 35-50. a lid is around an ounce 200-300 dollars. you will need some papers or a pipe or you can make a homemade piece. i guess that may pretty much sum it up

 

Well...when I first started smoking I just bought dimes, which is ten dollars worth of weed. I honestly have no idea how much that is in grams or whatever...I just know that I handed the guy 10 bucks and he handed me the sack of weed, but yeah, if it's your first time you really shouldn't need to buy a whole lot, a dime should be fine for your first time but then later you'll probably want to start buying some more since you start to build up a tolerance.

 

A dime bag sounds good. Would that be enough for a small bowl? I've heard that you don't get very high on your first hit. Would that be enough to feel the effects?

 

The price will greatly differ from where your at, The dude from mass is goin to pay more than a guy in the midwest, just get 10 or 20 bucks have your friend get it for you or take you where they get it, and go from there, 10 or 20 bucks will be enough to set you straight and not get you too much bud though

I'm getting a job in a week or two, so I'll have plenty of money. The job is only for a week, so I don't have to worry about testing or anything.

 

I'm going to be very cautious. I've been dreaming about my first hit for a long while now. I know who I'm gonna do it with, and I know where.

 

Good shit, just be safe and watch your back but try and not be to paronoid, try and smoke it where you wont havta worry about anything for a few hours cause you'll get the giggle probably and just be stoned the rest of the day

How could I get the smell off of me before I see my parents? Will a shower work well enough? I have a bottle of Visine for red-eye if that even happens on the first time.

Yeah, your eyes will need the visine... A shower and you said you were stayin at your friends so if your goin to take a shower might as well a change of clothes if your goin that far. Better safe than sorry. Well depends you'll be able to tell if you need to or not
