home brewed IPA.. not bad, aside for the fact it's almost unbearably hoppy. i was supposed to dry hop with leaf but used the same weight amount in pellets which are a lot more concentrated

mind altering substances=boring. sorry, just me, but is.
money is too. sex at least has SOME thing to offer,
but still not sufficient substitute for crating and exploring.

affection is good. i love affection. but i can only cuddle so long without getting impatient to be creating or exploring something, somewhere, somehow.

but booze, and other crap to impair my judgment, what the hell is the point?

in a good way, yes. but i still can only sit WITH anyone for so long, without having to get up and make something, or catch up with whatever else may be going on that interests me.

Experiencing different mind states is one of the great gifts of life. I agree that alcohol is probably one of the lowest forms and tends to bring out a lot of ugly things in people, but when consumed with balance it's great.

the reason i choose to drink expensive beers and liquors is because i enjoy the taste. if it were just about getting inebriated, i would buy the cheapest liquor i could and just down it. like any other good food, beer can range in complexity and flavor

I'll pretty much drink whatever, but good beers are probably my favorite choice of drink. It really depends on the mood i'm in ha

In my limited experience this is so true

I mean, my first time was a rape so obviously that wasn't fun, and with my first boyfriend I wasn't that excited... but now it is amazing!

Drinking Southern Tier 'Live', a new beer from ST. Its name refers to the live yeast in each bottle, being a bottle conditioned pale ale. I quite like this. It's very refreshing, drinkable, and has a nice, citrusy hop flavor. A very nice pale ale indeed.

bottle conditioned beers are the best.

i just bought some swing-top bottles to put my Agave Honey Apple Cider in. it's a bitch trying to get just the right amount of bottle conditioning without being overcarbonated

Bottle conditioned beers are indeed in a league of their own... especially bottle conditioned Belgian ales.
