Depends on the beer. But I cannot see drinking quality beer directly from the bottle, since you miss out on many of the beer's qualities this way, particularly in the aroma (which directly affects the taste) and appearance department. The only time I will drink from a can or bottle is if I am drinking a cheap, simple lager beer with not a whole lot of character to begin with. Anything else needs to be poured into a glass, and preferably one that corresponds to the style of beer I am drinking. So please give me a glass with my beer.
i like to get it in a skooner (sp?) at the bar, tastes best out of the tap to me... but when i drink outside the bar i like it in a bottle...
bar: in a glass, using correct glassware. party: can, bottle, plastic cup...i don't care...just gimme booze home: depends on what i'm drinking. a real good beer, then i'll pour it in a glass. something not so good, i'll drink from the bottle or can...
If I have a beer, it's always a "light" beer and it's either in a frosted mug or a bottle. No cans. Yuck.
I prefer pint glass, then bottle, then giant can, then regular can. I don't like cans much, but I like drinking so I wouldn't turn one down unless it was Busch, Busch Light, Bud Light, or Milwakees Best.
I like Guinness, and I usually drink it directly from the bottle. For some reason, it just makes more sense that way.
