beauty standards

It's an old thread, but it's had some recent activity, so I'll weigh-in. I do not believe in the concept of "beauty standards." The only appropriate answer is "none of the above."

You are trying to generalize a beauty standard among 60 percent of the world's population, Asians stretching from Turkey to Taiwan, from Saudi Arabia to Siberia. No such standard exists.

You are also trying to generalize a beauty standard among the other 40 percent of the world's population, from Estonia to Ecuador, from Montenegro to Mexico. No such standard exists.

It's pure folly. A waste of time. Not possible, and not worthy of the effort to prove it's a waste of time.

 

Beauty is skin deep but ugly goes right down to the bone.
The kind that matters; the inner sort.
