Barefootlocks' dread journey

Well, I figured it's finally time to start a dread journey thread...here it is
Before dreads, all dolled up:

And now, just a little over 2 months:

This ones my fav, it's like a scorpion tail:

Khi khi! (That's the sound a scorpion makes in my mind)
Sorry the pics are so big...if anyone knows how to fix this I'm open to suggestions (Also, I'm computer illiterate)

 

looks good for 2 months!!!! this is my second go around with dreads. I put them in last weekend for my birthday!!! I made it a year and a couple of months with the last model.(lol) me and my boyfriend had broken up and when i moved out my head still smelled like our apartment. i couldnt take that....so i chopped em. I missed them sooo much i just couldnt stand it anymore.

Keep up the patience and they look amazing!!

Hey thanks guys! Yeah, this is my...third time around? Somethin like that. And yeah, Starbuck, I totally know what your talkin about. My old ones reminded me of times past.
New me, new journey, that's how I look at it.
Much happier with these ones and after the maintenance to get them started I haven't really touched them. I must say, I'm quit happy with the results.

Backcombed and crocheted the loose ones when I first started. Now just lettin' em grow. Ripping apart to avoid one biggie tho.

 

Another month bites the dust!
