Two days now, in the 40s (F) with still very deep snow on the Maine scape. But I got in my first spring snow barefooting. I have described this before. It can't still be winter proper with me doing this. But spring is to be early this year, since it was such a strong snowy winter. There are places nearer the immediate sea shore where there is a tiny bit of bare ground showing. THAT's where I start. Where I live, just back from the sea, there is still far too much snow for this, except very locally. Any way you cut it, it always feels wonderful.
The UK weather has been blowing hot and cold lately, so i've been shod one day and barefoot the next for the past few weeks. Should be full time soon, apart from work.
I am so excited when it warms up enough to be barefoot outside... unfortunately I have to walk a mile to all my classes (my dorm is really really far) and there is glass in some parts where I must walk, so I may have to bring flip flops to keep the soft soles of my feet from being pierced, but other then that, I am so excited for barefoot walking in the grass around the trees here on campus
Yeah I've been walkin' barefoot since that nature hike, felt good to be back in skin, we had a nice rain yesterday so the ground today was good an' muddy, great for the feet to play in. Anyone got any pics they wanna share about their barefootin' experiances? I'll put up another one real fast.
