I told my uncle a couple months ago about the best bagel I ever when I went to a place in the Jewish neighbourhood of Montreal.

^^best bagels in the entire world. Well, he just texted me to say that he came back from Montreal and has a stash of bagels for me in his freezer.

it's hard for me to imagine a place where bagels aren't made and no one knows about them, but such backwards places do in fact exist.

there's a store about 2 minutes from my house here that has 30 different kinds of bagels.

they're really good but I take them for granted. in new york city on any given morning there are enough bagels to totally wipe out world hunger for years.

 

Mmm, that sesame-loaded bagel on the homepage looks awesome. I love bagels, especially sesame bagels. Lucky woman indeed, and nice of your uncle to remember.

Yeah, and the sesame bagels are so good you don't even have to cut them and put anything on them. They taste very soft, savory, and fresh in your mouth. I don't even toast them.

Toased bagels always good. Wake up early put some coffee on. Grab the cream cheese and ohhhh shit. Mornings just got better.

Best cheesecake ive ever had was in old Quebec, and i dont even like cheesecake.

 

ever notice how a canned pinapple ring just fits in a bagel so perfectly. pinapple and a schmeer and about 30-45 seconds in the micro-wave.

After working in a café where we had to serve bagels all day everyday, I can honestly say I'm so sick of bagels that I'll die happy if I never have to see one ever again.

 

I just posted something about bagels here and then saw this thread! Whoaa everyone loves bagels! I love them. With butter though but cream cheese is good too. MMMMMMMM BAGELS!! I'm gonna go to Montreal and try the bagels for reals.
