im going tobe a foreign exchange student from the u.s. and ive decided on these two places. i like adventure, a laid back atmosphere and fun things to do and nice weather. i think i would like australia bc of all the terrain and outdoor things to do but europe bc itd be a whole diff experience and culture. ill be 18 so i can fully experience the netherlands but if anyone has been to both which do you like better? ill be there for a year

Im half dutch and live in Aus either is a good choice but i think the netherlands would be better really cause you could really explore Europe and experience something wholly new where Aus your only in Aus having said that is is super diverse here too. Sorry im no helo haha But Im way excited for you! Either country will be an amazing high! Good luck making your choice bro :)

Definitely Holland. Australia is good, but Holland is better. Unless you are desperate for beaches and surfing, Holland can offer a lot more in terms of culture, the people are - overall - nicer, and then you can go to other European countries very easily.
