why dont parents admit they have favorites?

The answer is because if you say chris is your favorite that gives justification for the lesser kids to act out more (mom says I dont behave enough, well ill show her I wont come home until 1 in the morning today)

This reminds me of the Smothers Brothers "Mom always liked you best." I am not sure if Mom had a favorite, although from time to time we all were not favorites. Actually, I think she liked our dog Max the best.

Did your Mom stay at home (working) or did she work outside the home?

 

She stayed home until my Dad left when I was in Junior High and then she went out and got a job and a boyfriend and I had the whole house to myself most of the time.
