Are you generally "nice" or "mean"

?

Haha...stupid choice of words I know but are you nice to strangers and annoying strangers ... people who appear stupid... run into you (haha i dont know what my issue is but when people run into me or bump me i get sooo pissed).... or can you be bitchy, give mean looks, cold, etc?

I'm nice to my friends and people who are nice to me.... In fact I usually try to be pleasant and smile at everyone... but I have a very low tolerance for stupidity, assholes and people who stare or don't watch where they are walking/driving.... or people who are arrogant.... I get really annoyed by ignorance, stupidity, etc. - and can be bitchy. Yesterday someone cut in line at a store and I said to the lady "excuse me, I'm sure you realized that we were standing here first so you're gonna move behind me"... my husband's looking at me like "oh no" but whatever. I don't tolerate the assholes and idiots of society to act like assholes and idiots.


That said, I'm usually very nice to anyone who deserves it. Haha.

 

I'm usually nice to everyone at first. I have that look...the one that begs everyone to come tell me their life history and all the gossip they know. That gets really annoying, but I just smile and nod until I can escape.


I'm down right mean and nasty to guys that hit on me if I don't want their attention. Not right away mind you. In the nicest way possible I tell them to get lost. If that doesn't work I let the inner bitch take over. Sadly sometimes that makes some guys hit on me even more.

well, I don't think that what you said to the lady was mean. I think that you were spot on.

I'm generally 'nice' to strangers. I'm usually polite and don't really care when people walk into me or aren't looking where they're going or whatever. I used to be a lot more stressed out and get shitty about the most meaningless crap when I lived in London. Like people standing on the wrong side of escalators on the underground or idiots rooting for change when trying to pay for someting, keeping everybody else waiting. It's amazing how much I got carried away by the pace of citylife and how aggresive I was while living there. I think a lack of personal space does this to a lot of people.

 

I don't know why but I think I have that look too...

Random strangers are ALWAYS coming up to me and just start talking to me like they know me... telling me their whole damn life story...

which is rather annoying.

And I hate it when guys hit on me. Can't they see I'm wearing a ring?

Well, I really don't know what my problem is... yesterday I had to go grocery shopping at WalMart (shut up people...we are poor)... anyways I was fine at first but by the time that like person number 12 had ran into me I was pissed off and bitching about it to my husband... who is much more relaxed about stuff like that than me... he was like "there's people around, they're gonna run into you" ... to which I reply.... (and it's TRUE).... "I do not run into people....ever... because I watch where I'm going... so why can't other people do that?" Husband says "I can't believe you're even talking about this" but yeah... it really aggrivates me... and I had even taken an ativan. Geez.... but yeah... I think it is all about personal space-
I need mine. I've always been huge on needing personal space and personal time too... need lots of time alone... and space....

 

I am pretty okay person I like to think. I usually don't get guys hitting on me, I get annoying people who don't understand the notion of "personal space" and invade mine to where I feel their hot breath on me and then I have to say something, nothing mean but maybe a bit sarcastic. Unless the stranger is annoying or mean than I am pretty okay. I wouldn't say I was "mean" (even though people think I am) I just laugh out loud at people and their failure...

 

I get crazy old ladies that start telling me their life story. The other day walking to the store an old(er) lady came up walking behind me.. got within two inches of me and was like "I have to go into work today because I switched for this Sat. off.... ths Sat. was a nice day...blah blah blah" ...

To which I said "excuse me? Do I know you?"

im super nice to my friends, but to strangers who annoy the piss out of me? hells no. generally speaking, i just dont want to be bothered when im out. im usually thinkinga bout stuff, trying to sort shit out, etc. i dont want to discuss your grandaughters nose thanks. or have to explain teh -entire- fucking bus system to you at the end of the school year when youre obviously a student and were too damn lazy to learn it (or go grab those handy dandy pamphlets that are 5m away)

i try to be nice. but there's a missing filter between my brain and mouth. mostly i'm super friendly because people are fun. i'm also of the nice driver and help old ladies with their groceries set.

I'm nice to old ladies. They generally aren't the ones who piss me off.

And I'm a nice driver. It's the asshole drivers that I don't like and then I can turn bitchy in return... I hate it when people ride on my ass, cut me off, don't use their turn signal.... blah.

 

I come off as really serious to strangers. Defense mechanism. Not mean really unless I need to be.

When you get to know me, I'm mostly a kitten. Unless I need not be.

I had a kitten attack and scratch my face to holy hell...traumatized me for years...

I just laugh, no need to be rude, you just laugh at people. Why? Cause it annoys them more than words. People at my work here who don't know me either think I'm a snob or are intimidated by me and won't talk to me I am human damnit, if I pick do I not bleed...I am not an animal...I need to lay off the coffee big time, no wonder people stay away from me...

I didn't drink coffee for a long time and lately I drink a lot of it.... and I get kinda.... haha.... mouthy.

Anyways.... laughing at people is great.. I should do it more often.

Cause I'm quiet until I know a person. And really I hate idle chatter... you know... people who think they need to talk constantly just to TALK... what is wrong with quiet?

But anyways... I'm not snobby and I hate it when people think that.

 

haha What? I can't help it. I was given the nickname Kitten and it was explained to me - I'm cute and look sweet....but I will claw you in a second just for the hell of it.

Oh I also tend to help random people solve their problems. I hate that I'm an approachable person sometimes. I had a woman ask me how she should deal with her teenager. How the hell should I know?

 

Silence is a great thing and should be done more often...
Yeah, I hear ya' with the snob thing, it's quite funny. And then I think, well, do I really want these people talking to me anyways

I get a bit annoying when I drink too much coffee which has been this morning, I had about 6 cups I smell bladder infection!

I wish more people talked to me at times.. I like meeting different people, that's always fun...
