april 29, 1992 is the name of the song. and that's what it says in the lyrics. before i read them i always thought brad sang "april 26th 1992" as well

I remember when I was in highschool and stuff, it was like haha 87'ers.. the 90s kids were just fucked... but I really wanted to say that Im a little embarrassed but I didnt really know what the song was about.. I just wikied it actually is a very interesting story..
