Just found out what it was called this week, I've always loved that style. Now I'm on eBay trying to find affordable things made in that era. I'm 16 by the way. =)
I love victorian homes we have lots of them here, and they are so awesome with turrets etc fuck it, I am going to go ahead and live in one
Yeah I want to live in one too, there are a lot of them in Bethlehem, PA which was where I was born but don't live there anymore =(.
Oh man. I saw this chair once. I have no idea whether or not it was victorian. But I'd like to think it was and I call it victorian to this day. It was the nicest chair I have ever seen. It was like a Tim Burton drawed up chair in real life. Even if that makes it less Victorian by definition. tee hee. They called it a giant emily chair and it was made of deep purple swaide. This suede was too nice to be called suede. It had to be called swaide. And it was giant. But beautiful. The most beautiful piece of furniture I've ever seen . so. No I do not like Victorian furniture or items.
i like it too.. if you are creative, try goodwill salvation army.. many good finds, garage sales too...
False. Realistically you're not finding anything decent second hand. Artism doesn't age like garbage.
At least a quarter of the stuff you see on Antiques Roadshow (PBS) the owners claim to have originally purchased the items at garage sales Hotwater
sorry, but i have a hard time imagining anything less attractive or more repulsive. i mean as far as inanimate objects go. obviously there are things people do to each other which are far worse, but other then that, sorry, not only no but hell no. =^^= .../\...
No, I can't stand that old stuff. My Dad's a real antique-junkie while I'm more of a funk-man. But I do like women named Victoria.
Eh, not so much... I love cabin-style stuff... Things made from real wood that looks like I just went out back and made it in two seconds... That's what I love, and soon I will have a little wood house (or cob house, haven't decided) and live on a crap load of land... But I'm not a huge fan of victorian furniture and such...
I do love the look of Victorian, but it isn't practical for me to have any. My kids would destroy it. I like cottage-type style, with comfy looking furniture and lots of light.
I have lego dimples in my ass and I don't even sit on legos Monistat 7 applicators? that's what I made my bed out of...I get a lot of infections..sshhhh....
