...don't even try And also.. don't even THINK about culturing ergot. It's spores can K-I-L-L you. It is incredibly lethal, which is why disposing of ergot contaminated grain is such an annoying procedure. LSD is a very advanced substance. It's not as difficult to make as some others, but it is well beyond cook book chemistry. If you have to ask which gas you should use as an inert shield, you probably should hit the books for another 6 months. Then again, even though it is supposedly unstable, it CAN be stored in ampules, away from light and in cool conditions, and it will last indefinitely. Not too long ago some folks got their hands on an ampule of original Sandoz LSD made in the 50s, and it was perfectly intact. So, if you can actually MAKE the stuff, you can also preserve it. Which means you could make a LOT of it (yes, a million hits or more) and get out of the business of making it, stashing your million hits in the walls of a beer fridge you keep in your basement. Because a hit is .325mg, and that means a million hits is contained within only 333 grams. So hey, round it off to 3 million hits for a full kg. It's not as if you'll ever need to make it again.
