Anybody graduate with dreads?

I'm graduating on Wednesday and there's loads of people from uni saying that the cap is not going to fit my head because everyone always has problems with caps. Is there anybody here who graduated with dreads? How did you make your cap stay on? Thanks!

 

Not I...I just so happen to be going into the tenth grade. Im such a baby.

 

It's a dilemma coz If they say to me "oh you have to tie them up" I'm gonna freak, don't want to have to tie them up and have my moon face showing.

idk if it would work, but why don't you try to pull them down so they're flatter against your head and pin them like that? i guess if you could imagine what i'm talking about? i have no idea if it'll work but you could always give it a try

Yeah I can. But I'd imagine with my fat dreads it'd be a bit hard. *Sigh* I can see me spending WAY over my £50 budget tomorrow

 

Or maybe even an few old school hat pins... but yeah just pin the hat atop your dreads.

Yeah that could work! Sadly the only way i'll know for sure is on the day. I shall have to buy a few different types of pin. So stressful!

They don't suit me. Plus I don't want to be discriminated against further in employment it's bad enough I have dreads :/ Didn't mean to cause offense btw

 

I think dreadedsunflower asked this a while back when she was graduating and people said that you could ask for a larger hat size. coo much?

 

I graduated with dreads I just tied them back and bobby pinned the hat to my hair and mine are pretty thick and long so it should work
