Man it seems like everybody around me is a nervous wreck these days--customers, friends, people on the bus--there's alot of foot tapping, finger drumming, studdering, and stuccato monolouges with an undertone of panic going on all of a sudden. Seems like there's a fight more nights than not at the bar I pass on my way home every night. What's up? headlines hitting too close to home? Economy giving everybody the jitters? Big shipment of meth come in and nobody told me? anybody else notice this where you're at?
i see it sometimes when i go downtown. but thats about it. its all the business-suit type people mostly that i see.
I haven't noticed all these things you mentioned, but I will say that it all makes sense considering what the corporations are determining for what the governments should do. All this trickles down, and people subconsiously sense what is coming.....
I think you're right. I think alot of people are starting to sense that the partys over and the bills on it's way. Thing that scares me most is that I think we (americans. I don't know what it's like in other parts of the world) have forgotten what it's like to have to depend on each other. Our economy's allowed each of us to build and live in our own little world. We're going to have to relearn how to coperate with each other here pretty quick.
i know nAkid. question is... see, i thikn a lot of people FEEL it and SOME realize... but is there anything to be done?
Chickens and goats Interval, chikens and goats. Seriously I don't have a clue. The worse things get the less anybody wants to talk about it. Personally, I'm thinking "New Zealand..."
yeah but what about a revolution? or i too niave i tottally wanna escape too ... i heard mars is okay
Revolutions one of the things we have to worry about. Look at it this way; All of our army and who knows how much of our national guard is commited to a war on the other side of the world. As far as what's left here at home; who has the most guns, manpower, money, and the motivation for a revolt? The "street" gangs. These guys are an army of trained soldiers who've been fighting and training since jr. high or earlier. Plus they're alot more cohesive and commited to each other than any yuppy "community". nope, I'm still thinking "New Zealand.."
no, I'm pessimistic and jaded. People have yelled for change before to no avail. I am just depressed at how divided we really are. The election blew my mind, really, that people would cast their vote based on a 'moral' issue, with such an immoral outlook.
Divided yes. I think that's key. People should be working on forming communitys right now. I don't see that. What I see around me is alot of people escaping further and further into drugs, alcohol, whatever distraction works. Like they've already given up.
