    Like, unconcerned about consequences.
I have social anxiety, and i always feel a level of stress and judgement when I'm around people i'm not like...best friends with. I'm looking for something that can take care of that and help me become more open and just think "fuck it" more. I'm sick of it, and it seems like nothing I'm doing on my own is helping.

I've done pills for going on 5 years now, but mostly been painkillers and adderall.

    Looking for any opinions.

    Thank you.

That's what i've heard but like, i haven't really found any information online about like what it did. I'm not familiar with anything but painkillers and narcotics.

I guess you don't know about Erowid. Read the basics and some of the experience reports, as well as anything else that catches your eye.

Yes. They are called antipsychotics. Of course, there is no recreational value, but if you want to genuinely feel free of 'giving a fuck' or being irritated, they are the best IMO.

For something with recreational potential, I would vote for the short-acting benzodiazepines like Xanax (alprazolam), Temazepam, or Halcion (triazolam).

How can someone with social anxiety never have heard of benzos? or "find much information online"?

there is no smiley that has enough facepalm and confusion to communicate what i'm feeling o_O

I've never cared to look any further until recently. I used them recreationally and never did much of the research. That's my own stupidity, I know. But hey, better late than never.

  14. hi i dont really recommend it but try doing benadryl. don't take more than like 150mgs or you'll start to see 100% real looking spiders

if you have legitimate social anxiety you should see your doctor and s/he will most likely prescribe you a benzo. better than trying to find something on the street.

Benzos would be your best bet as far as a down the hatch pill solution. I would reccomend Klonopin because of it's relatively high potencty and it's long half life. Don't take xanax for social anxiety. Too many side effects, and it doesn't last very long. Maybe if you were having panic attacks.

Doctors will most likely prescribe you an antidepressant, which will do nothing except make you feel numb. And, God forbid if they prescribe you an anti-psychotic as someone suggested, flush those fucking things down the toilet. They are for people with extremem mental disorders and will make you a complete zombie, and not in a good way.

But, honestly a pill isn't going to cure your social anxiety. It will help for a period of time but long term will do more harm than good. Try and find the root of your anxiety and adjust your behaviour and thinking accordingly. This approach is much harder than popping a pill, but it will actually help your social anxiety in the long term better than anything else could.

I just feel bad recommending anything to the OP honestly because benzos and opioids are terribly addictive to some people and I wouldn't want to be responsible for starting his habits.

New advice: read a psychology book on dealing with anxiety. That would be safer.

Fuck it? Yeah xanax and/or alcohol.

Seeing the bright side of everything: opiates.

Both are gonna fuck your life up
