im 20 years old. this is a serious question and its asking for money. heres why im asking i would like to raise enough money to throw a free festival. i think we could start something big if we would do it we could gather millions to this place and show the world that we can live happy and free with music
It depends on how big of a festival you need to have. There is a "goodstock " festival coming up in 2007, won't be free, but I'm told "affordable", with nearly 70 bands. We have a FREE music and campout Festival every year that lasts "officially" a week, unofficially about 3, and get enough bands (unsigned/independant) for one stage all weekend. It requires relatively NO money, as everything is done voluntarily including the music, and people donate foor, labor, etc. I think last year we spent $400.00 on the whole thing, and that was mostly advertising.
