Another hair thread.

Okay,
I cant decide if I should keep on hilighting my hair or let it grow out au naturelle. My natural hair colour is not that different from what it is now an din my photos, its just I wanted to become super blonde. But its always damaging to do that to your hair. I dont know if Ill be satisfied with light to dirty blonde hair, allowing the sun to make it light.I cant decide. So you guys decide for me

 

As long as you done dye it green or blue or something weird like that it will be all good.

 

Let it grow out and save yourself the hassle, I am sure you wont loose points!

i need to refresh my hair, and i'm thinking of dying it something crazy
i'm bored with blonde
thinking about going red again, but i'd have to get it done in a salon and it's so expensive, and i'm not really sure how happy i'll be with it red
i'm thinking of just dying the underneath purple

cate as for your hair, i love the way it is, you can go more natural if you want to, either way you'll look great

 

I agree with Jess. Green or blue would be awesome, but regardless of what you choose, you're still going to look fantastic. It's all about feeling fantastic, at the end of the day, about the choices you've made.

but whats it matter what we say since it should be an expression of you?
tye die it green blue purple all kinds of crazy...if it isnt fun and uniquely you then whats the point? ya might as well shave it off if your choosing a color based on other ppl's opinions..whatever is most apealling to you is what u should do

 

Its just because its a damaging process....but I wanted to be like near platinum

 

you know if you go to a natural salon the process isnt as damaging. they wouldnt just bleach your hair.

even with highlights, instead of stripping the pigments in your hair, they paint it on. it's just a different process. if you go to a regular salon your scalp will like burn off.

i vote for keep your hair as it is. i like it. as people get older their hair color changes, and even though this is a hippie forum, i do not think natural hair is always best.

 

what is this 'natural salon'. I must find one.

 

haha, i dunno, i guess theres different ones all over the world.


but i go to aveda. girls with bleached out damaged hair go to there all the time to get their hair healthy and pretty again. the process is fun. it temp turns your hair pink for like 10 min.

but.

expensive.

 

I say go natural and let the sun do its beautiful work.

 

keep the hilites, shows off your face more.

I've been highlighted and completely bleached before.. and a lot of people like it better, like they say my facial expressions and dimples and everything show off more but.. I guess you gotta like them, for that..
