I've discovered I love Acid, recently @ Bonnaroo. I was pretty much having an awful time at the festival because of my sister, whom I never should have brought with me...but that's another story. Anyways, we both got piss ass drunk by 11am-12pm. She went and passed out and I stumbled across a couple selling and bought 2 hits. I wasn't really into trying psychadelics, and was content with the occasional bowl/line, but I thought wtf, this festival can't get much worse...and it DIDN'T! So I took the hits. Didn't feel anything for a little while, but when I did, I found this one guy peddling his KRSNA videos and ended up buying one. At that time, I wasn't feeling the effects full blown, and decided to meander to Centeroo....and wooohooo what a time. I had the strangest urge to just hug everybody, and then I thought I saw Jesus, and then I decided to pick up a whole bunch of garbage. Somehow I found my way back to camp, where I found a quarter in my tent AND OMG what fun! I spent probably at least a 1/2 hour watching the quarter get big and get small in my hand. The grass was also freaking awesome to watch. It was full of glowy pretty worms. My sister, at this time, took advantage of the situation and decided to pack up my stuff in my car and make me leave. I did because I was in no mood for fighting. We went to a hotel and the ceiling was full of cool designs and letters. And the SHOWER, OMG!!! I never had so much fun in the shower. I felt like the trip would never stop...it went on for a long time. Yeah, I'm in llloooovvvveee.
Haha, hell ya that's how it was for me too, love at first sight. Sounds like nothing could have ruined your trip. And that's the cool thing about acid, it lasts the whole night!
now...i'm glad it went awesome for you--but concidering the mood you went into it with, it could have been quite the opposite. so, seeing as how wonderful it was, imagine how much BETTER it will be the next time when the set & setting is just right. lay off alcohol--drink lots of water instead (you'll get even higher that way) avoid food a few hours before & the whole time you trip (it'll get you even higher) stay away from sober people then your experience will truly be magical!!!
lol... kinda hard to avoid sober people at a festival! maybe she means your sister. i could see how she might have been a bummer. when i am at a festival i usually keep to myself for the most part anyways, but the odd interaction with people can be interesting. at least at a festival people are expecting to see people acting a little strange so i dont feel self conscious about being high. glad to hear you had a good time. for most people an annoying sister is all they need to ruin their trip.
Yeah, I wasn't exactly planning on doing it...it just happened. Can't wait to do it again....w/o the sister lol. I know it could have been disasterous, but it was good. Drugs have never really been anything special to me. I sometimes like to smoke weed, take a line, molly, etc but it just was never great....this was far better.
