I've always been easily angered. When I was a kid I dealt with it by doing to someone what they did to me. Eye for an eye I was always taught. But since having a baby I can't do that any longer because I really don't want to take a chance on getting into a fight somewhere and going to jail. Not a great role model if you are in jail. So now my anger stays bottled up. Until I can't control it. I just want to run away sometimes or just get a punching bag and hit it until my knuckles bleed. I've never known how to deal with anger. And now with what is going on in my life (I made a post about it somewhere on this forum if you are interested) I really want to seriously beat someones a**. (The mother of my husbands child noted in my other thread). The only thing that's stopping me is my son. But I'm really scared that if I don't deal with it I'm going to end up doing something I regret. Not to my family oh no. But to whoever ticks me off at any given moment. It could just be a little thing like someone cutting me off in traffic.

I can't ever recall though having so much anger I don't know what to do. Feeling like a rat in a cage and there's no way out. And this is how I feel at the moment and have felt for a couple months. Has anyone ever felt this way? I doubt it's a psychological disorder because I do have a great stressor in my life.

I would try and find a therapist. If you need an outlet you can speak with them and vent, and they will also have advice on how to control yourself outside of the office. It helped me a lot.

Aw, I hear ya. About people cutting you off in traffic, you know we have to put up with jerks all of our life. At work, on the roads, and out and about. So, they next time someone pisses you off..say.. God, this one is yours and let it go. Also, going for walks or run will help you with the stress. Good luck !
