I guess I am going through my hippy phase, I am as vegitarian as possible, I love weed...I mean who doesn't? And I get to try shrooms soon!!! Yay! Shampoo... While I'm not one to pass judgement on decisions others make in their lives, I think you should ease up off the recreational imbibements a bit. You're at an age where you should really be exploring the world with an uncluttered mind and you're partaking in some pretty serious stuff for your age. While I enjoy the nice spliff once in awhile and have done my fair share of shrooms, these were things that I did later in my teens, after having researched them and their effects.

If you were to be caught with these items at age 13 or 14, it will have serious impact on your future, whether you want to believe it or not. Now am I saying that you can't make your own mind up - not at all. Am I saying that you shouldn't do some experimenting in your life - not at all. But do educate yourself before you jump on a bandwagon that says that it's cool to do these things. While I enjoyed my days of experimenting with mind-altering drugs and do feel that I learned a great deal about myself and the world, I now see that I missed out on a lot of highs that no drug could have provided me. Highs that only come through accomplishment from hard work.

I speak to you not only from my experience, but as someone who currently has a 16 year old brother in rehab for Crystal Meth usage that came from experimenting with recreational drugs at age 13 and 14. I really hope that you can at least pause and think about why you are doing these things rather than blindly following the pack.

 

I think it's really really sweet of you to care. But don't worry about me to much. I'm sure you've heard that before or said that before, but I think I'll be okay. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know, what 13-year-old does? I also don't know if I ever would be able to get into anything worse where I live. I live in a really small town and pretty much all you can get here is Hydrocodone, weed, cigarette's, liquor and probably some coke.

 

I just want all of you to know that I am not an angry person. I really can't stand the type of people I described, for various reasons.

My name is Tonja, I am a 38 year old female in southeast missouri. I joined the HipForum to keep in contact with my daughter who moved to seattle WA. She was definitely born in the wrong ERA.
I Have a total of three children of my own, 19, 16 and 15. But I do have a lot of kids who call me mom, kids from the neighborhood and friends of my children, that come to me for advice, a hug, support and encouragement. My daughter 19 as I said lives in WA, my son 16 is going to Northwest Missouri State University this fall and that leaves me with my 15 year old son. I will be 41 when he turns 18, young enough to get my groove on.
I am now married to an ice cube who withholds his love if he is not happy with me about anything. I hopefully will get out of here before I hate myself for the way he makes me feel.
That is just a little information.

By the way, I love weed. it is the laughing gas that keeps me sane. It is the feed me fuck me and put me to bed medicine that I am sure my mother would enjoy, LOL.

oh shampoo..i agree you should wait..i never messed with that stuff till i was 19..& hydrowhatever it is..& coke are really negative drugs & u should avoid them at all costs..i did do alot of psychodelics between 19 & 25..but i stopped long ago & i never touch anything but weed now.. (except a very very rare tiny lil taste of alcahol..only if its something special..like hoomemade meade or whatever..& like i said just the tiniest sip just to get a taste
weed is pretty much harmless (once your around 16-18) but the other shit u should avoid at all costs..except some psychodelics can be ok..for most people not all..only in a safe & respected way however..they are extremely powerful sacraments..& can blow your mind wide open..& if your not ready for that can really mess up yopur mind..traditionaly they were only used in cerimonies to bring enlightenment to shamans.. the way theyre used & overused these days i think is rediculouse..
be sure you know wha your getting into before you try it..& dont be in a hurry..the 1st time u should be only with people u trust completely..& who know how to deal with possible bad reactions..& environment matters too..
