Amsterdam? how is it there?

ok, im about to graduate high school (this my last year) and i was wondering if any of you traveled to amsterdam, and if you did how is it?
is the marijuana there good? is it cheap??? how are the museums there? and the hotels? basicly im trying to know, if its worth the trip, and if its expensive.

and do i need to be 18 to buy weed there?? and are shrooms legal there? i read somethin were it said you could buy em fresh legaly then eat em, but if there dry its illeagal or somethin....

please just tell me some about amsterdam, like feedback please haha...

yes. but there is an off chance that a place wont card you. alot of the coffee shops are shady.

fresh are legal to possess. still its not legal to trip on them because Psilocybin and psilocin are both listed "hard drugs" in the Netherlands.

 

Every drug is legal in Amsterdam. The weed there is the best pretty much anywhere because they can legally grow it and shit. I dont know about prices too much tho.

the prices vary from shop to shop (sometimes drastically) apparently its pretty typical to see a gram of dank (and when i say dank i mean DANK) bud for around 13 euros

 

a couple of friends i know went on a big tour of Europe that ended in Amsterdam, both ppl from vancouver said they went to many different coffee shops, and the weed was only comparable to vancouvers when they paied top dollar for the best stuff they could buy

kinda turned me off wanting to go

 

I heard that you can also buy research chemicals, such as 2c-E and 2c-I in stores. I don't know if it's true though. Sounds too good to be true.

9 state have pot clubs for the sick in usa 13 trying to get it.

Yet any one can jut see a doctor on the medical pot list and get ok for a state ID card.

California has 140+ clubs open 8am -10am to 10pm or midnite

San Francisco has great fresh pot all year around but was costly until the clubs .

But whats great about the clubs its like shopping for fine wine now with 30+strains hash kief brownies so on.

of the 9 state selling the 2nd most clubs by any other state is like 7 clubs LOL.

So alot in USA calling us in California out of envy or jealous Amsterdam2.

Others may be jealous and envious, but I am happy for you, as I am sure the rest of your MJ forum brethren are. I only wish the rest of the US would follow CA's lead, if not complete legalization.

 

1. Drugs are not legal in amsterdam. Cannabis is decriminalised and tolerated to an extent but not legal. You can buy it over the counter yes, but it's strictly regulated, taxed etc. Neither can you legally grow it. Each household is allowed 5 plants but all the bigger grow operations which supply the coffeeshops are illegal. It's a grey area because the coffeeshops have to break the law to be able to sell weed/hash.

2. On the mushroom thing they were recently declared ok dry because there is no way of proving if they were dryed on purpose or naturally (for source check http://www.mushroom-online.com/ click on drugstore on the left and click on what's up, scroll down to find the article dated 12/12/05).

Personally having been 6 times I have never heard of 2ci or 2ce being sold over the counter in smartshops etc but then have never really looked. When you can consume as much mushrooms, weed and hash (and other things) as you desire openly and without fear of prosecution, why would you want to break the law and risk getting in trouble off some shitty coke from some sketchy street pusher?? Eat a handful of hawaians hehe.

Quality varies of course when it comes to smoke but generally if you know what you're after and you avoid the tourist traps and don't act like some idiot stoned brit/american kid (of which sadly there are plenty) then you'll be fine. It's not necessarily much more crazy or mental than most high end buds you can get at home but there is just so much more of a selection so whatever effect you are after there will be something for you. Plus good selections of hash. At the same time though you will find some apeshit stuff like you never smoked before. There is plenty of decent smoke in holland for sure including some funky strains you will have never heard of but a lot of stuff is just tourist shit so be aware... Enjoy your trip!

 

In Amsterdam are a lot of tourists, a lot of coffeeshops and a lot of difference between weed quality, and prices as well.

if i were to bring seeds from amsterdam to america would that b illeagal??!?!
