Am I To Young?

Ok, i'm 13 and i'm very curious about LSD. I dont know if im to young or what but should I wait a few more years? I dont even know where to get it or how to contact anyone to get it. Gee, whats LSD like? Please someone experianced tell me.

 

well if you don't know how to get it anyway, what good is it asking if you're ready?

have you done any other drugs? have you smoked pot? 13 is pretty young, but my boyfriend did shrooms the first time when he was 11 and turned out great so it really depends on the person. read up on erowid so when the opportunity arises, and you decide you're ready to try it, you'll know *sort of* what to expect.

 

I never even drank or smoked pot much less tripped until I was 20. Not because I had any kind of moral problem with it or I was a square, psychedelia had always interested me in junior high/high school and most of my friends smoked or ate shrooms, but I never took part until I got older. I just told myself I didn't want to put anything into my body/head until I knew I was (physically) mature. Since then I've tripped dozens of times on cid, mushrooms and different RCs. They've helped me expand my mental horizons, I don't treat them as "party drugs", that's what weed and beer are for IMO. I'm actually pretty glad I waited, I've seen some pretty damaged individuals that got started early on. I'm not trying to preach or say that's how things will turn out with you, I'm sure you'll be fine if you educate yourself properly. Like prismatism said always read Erowid before trying something new.

13 is pretty young, but i've known people to have done it much longer then you. if you are well read up on it, and feel like you can really handle it, then by all means, go for it.

i dont think you should go look for it, but you should let it find you.

well if you mean you have no idea other than its "trippy" then i dont think you should do it yet.

LSD is like a 3D (or 4, stuff gets weird) sheet of abstract patterns in a constant movement that goes over your vision. Like now if you look at something say a speaker you are focusing on it, the speaker. But when you take lsd, you are no longer focusing on the speakers you are focusing on the patterns , even if you are still seeing the speaker, which might breath, change form , ripple or stay the same. So you are not focusing at something Real anymore (kinda like when you day dream, its the same!), and cant change anythin about it. So thats the risk.

If you take alot of it the Unreal which chatches your focus will literally flood the Real. On a low dose its ok the flow of abstract colorful patterns will be in harmony with the sight of reality, your room or wherever. The effects build up for about 3 hours and then come down pretty slowly. About 8-12 hours all in all.

 

i was interested in psychedelics, especially lsd, a year and a half ago and im glad i didnt do it then and that i waited.. but i mainly only waited because i couldnt find any ;P

 

I first tripped when i was 15 on shrooms, then later that year on L and I was fine
And my girlfriend first tripped when she was 13, and she was fine. It's all about the person I guess.

 

you should probly try weed just to get a small feel of the drug experience, even though weed is nothing like acid.
just go for it i think the first time i did LSD i was 14 so not much differeent

Hmmm, I understand. My brother told me whenever I go into High School, it's like all of these things are basically going to be avaliable from person to person. He doesn't want me to do drugs, he thinks I dont want to try them, my whole family thinks that. So basically, if you're on LSD things can talk and breath? Strange, one day I asjed my Dad about LSD, I was like outta curiousity Dad, what happens when you're on LSD? And he said, Well pretend you're watching a cartoon, sometimes when you go on LSD your whole reality will change and it will be like you are the cartoon and everything around you. He told me never to do drugs, still does tell me. My Dads 50, he's done LSD and he told me he hated it, he said he is lucky to be alive because he was young when he did it and he took a HUGE amount and he didn't know any better, he was on that trip for 24 hours straight. Scary, indeed. But still I have studied it and I think if I want to fo LSD, like one person replied on here, I should let it find me...

 

good description. but i love cartoons. they are especially fun to star in. but you are too young to handle that sort of thing. there is a too old also. you must wait til the time is right then decide, but i don't think that time is now. and to add, that time is never for some people.

 

i am sorry, but no 13 year old should be tripping.

 

blah blah blah; majority of people are going to say don't take it because you're 'only 13' and you're not developed yet...etc. and i agree; but that usually doesn't stop many people from do a lot of things right? if you're going to do i regardless, just remember to not be pressured into it and plan ahead don't just do it when someone has it at a party or something. and make sure you know what you're taking and all that shit, i agree you should go read some hardcore erowid now
