yes, if you are 36 weeks pregnant, chances are you're gonna have your baby soon. What's the rush? enjoy your sleep while you can!

right, you may wish it hadn't come after it does, lol.
you could take some cold liver oil, that's supposed to help.
also, nipple stimulation/sex (yes it's safe--positions may be an issue however lol.

well, you could...Baby will arrive when she's ready. :)

And just enjoy your last few days as a momma of just one. :)

That one about sleeping (second post)...hahaha, yeah...I'm 37.5 weeks and there is no such thing as sleeping when you're this far along...:D

i had twins, 6 lbs each, and i slept hardcore on my back every night until the day they arrived. The only time i couldnt sleep is if they were really active, cause it's not easy to relax when there's 8 limbs that feel like chicken bones sliding around your insides.

Even though I was waking a lot at the end of my pregnancies, I still got more sleep when I was pregnant than AFTER the baby came. Sage was almost a month early. I missed a month of sleep! :)

I had to sleep on my side for the last 6 months of all my pregnancies. Everybody is different. You must be tall, seahorse. My babies were basically crushing my lungs by the second trimester. I am barely 5 ft tall.

you don't really want to get things moving any faster. You don't want a baby that is born too early and unable to nurse because of it, or worse, unable to breathe. besides, nothing is going to induce your labor (not even the hardcore drugs at the hospital) if your baby and your body are not ready yet, and if you try and it doesn't work you are setting yourself up for a surgical birth instead, which believe me, it isn't any fun to have to recover from a cesarean AND take care of a newborn infant. (((((hugs)))))

trust your body and it's ability to nurture this baby exactly the right amount of time. Trust your body's ability to know exactly when your baby should be born, and in your ability to give birth to this baby with or without your doctor's help. Spend these last few weeks reading about positive birth stories, like in Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. Seeing a chiropractor helped me in a big way as far as my comfort levels in that third trimester. Try to relax as much as possible and don't stress. Everything will be cool. You'll see! :)

I 100% agree with mamaboogie. If you begin to do things now to bring on labor you may end up with more than you hope for. When that babe is ready, they will be born. I would begin to do some visualizations to help you focus your energy. Their is a great website www.midwiferytoday.com They have a forum section on their page and you can get a lot of info on measures to help you with any discomforts you might be having until you birth your baby. Your body is made to do it!
