I've found that a lot of the dreams I have (at least the ones I remember) are frequently about my everyday worries. Is there a way to reduce this? It's bad enough that I'm full of anxiety when I'm awake!
I have the exact same thing. almost every single dream I have is about the annoying crap that's going on in my life. the only thing I've found that helps at all is doing yoga and meditation before bed. the yoga gives my body a good rest, which in turn helps my mind settle down, and the meditation, even if it's only for ten or fifteen minutes, really helps to clear my mind of the day and all the stuff going on.
one of the functions of dreams is to randomly run simulations to look for a way out of that. eventualy your dreams will find one that works, at least within them themselves. taking proactive measures to reduce the probability of the level of stressfulness in your waking life is one aspect to solving this problem. obviously there are practical and moral limitations as to what measures can be taken. keep an eye out for harmless options that will reduce the level of external pressures you are submitted to. that is the number one thing i would suggest. try to find what is a calming context to you and visualize this upon prepairing to sleep. there is another thing, and that is looking at how your own outlook and the influences of that outlook affect your actions and how those actions affect the levels of stress arround you. if all else fails, alter your living arraingements. again your dreams may looking for a way for you to do this. remember, it isn't ALL inside of us. it isn't ALL outside of us. it IS both. =^^= .../\...
