I know this is pointless but i'm just going to again point out that late term abortions arent done for the hell of it, but for medical reasons only when the mother's life is in danger. And it's an enormously difficult situation for a mother to make. Imagine having a husband and kids who depend on you and a doctor tells you if you carry your baby to term you will die. And you have to choose between your life and your baby's life.
I have nothing but sympathy for anyone who ever has to make that decision

However, I can sympathize with late term abortions only if it's a life threatening pregnancy for the mother. If the mother dies, the baby will likely die too.

It isnt really a reason to advocate for tighter abortion restrictions in the US though, as it isnt a common problem here

 

There's plenty of it in western culture as well. Families are still arranged and passed down in the same way. Sure, we have alternatives, but the bigger message is STILL that men must toil to build a family to carry the name yadda yadda yadda. It's when you talk to men who only have daughters that you gain enlightenment on this issue. Personally, I think my daughter should be my wife's junior and carry her family's name forward. Her family has only 4 people in it. The rest died off. There is no path for my daughter in this manner because of western "values".

From what I am seeing, abortion restrictions are relaxing in a substantial way. And it's happening at the state level. We're watching an interesting modernization of a civil war in this nation, primarily based on social issues. That's a major development when you consider that most of the wars we have known have been over resources and/or politics.

But then, we in the US are merging our social lives with our political lives whether we like it or not. It will destroy our nation and we'll be back at the street level, hating people on their individual merits instead of how they are grouped.

No clinic is doing an aboirtin purely over gender. If they did they could loose their medical license. Don't you think any women would just kill the child after if not giving an abortio?. I mean if their motives is some sort of feminist thing which you always go back to that is easy.

I think you are not taking into account how wanted pregnancies are. It's not "fucked up" in the sense they just know they can get abortion so why use BC. It's more like that women is going to miss that kid for years.

What does not help is all the judgement. Her desire to be a mom was there and it's deeply hurtful for a women to be close to that and not have it. The standard GOP view seems to be sluts have face consequences.

If it's at the point of third term she wants the kid. No one is changing their mind then. She is already gaining weight, getting stretch marks, spending money on cribs. Women tend to want to keep their bodies nice. A kid is one way they accept it is ruined. They don't give that up easily.

As male it's not up to you. If you don't like I guess don't get one. But your moral high ground just comes off like an asshole to women in need. You should respect their choice.
