Alcohol Effecting the gatherings

The Rainbow Family of Living Light has been spiritually corrupted by our indulgent, babylonian attitude towards alcohol. We have allowed ourselves to be spiritually and physically abused by a terrorizing, brutalizing and extorting circle of those addicted to alcohol called “A-Camp”, we have exposed the woman and children -the life stream of creation- to this darkness and put them at risk.
Alcohol Spirits and Related Thoughts

I have been there and I try not go there...in my personal past, any more. When I was a child, I knew that alcohol, ruined lives, and I prayed that the day would come, when all the alcohol in the world would burn up...so no one on the Earth, could drink again. In every family I met, Alcohol had found a way in and had left a path of destruction, much like a blazing trail, that even a blind person could follow. As an adult, I experienced alcohol in many ways, and those ways all led to darkness, pain and sorrow. I saw alcohol continue it's destructive path all around me. Alcohol eats up lives, in much the same way as fire eats wood. As an adult though, I knew I had a choice. I could continue the path of destruction my parents and society left me as my inheritance or I could change the things they taught me. I could choose a new way to walk. Why not learn from others mistakes?
Anyway, now I am a Spiritual Teacher and I have learned to understand the Spirit of Alcohol. Alcohol used to be called Spirits, remember? Spirits not Alcohol, meaning there is more than one Spirit involved to form the body of alcohol. Each glass you drink, is actually an invitation to 21 Evil Spirits to come live in your house(Body, your body is supposed to be the temple for the Holy Spirit enter in). Twenty One Spirits that have the ability to effect one's Spirit on all levels of consciousness, and through this manipulation can cause physical harm to manifest in a variety of ways. These Evil Spirits have a single purpose too. Their purpose is to find the weaknesses in your Spirit and then enhance them to make them greater. Thereby as Evil Spirits, they fulfil their purpose of destruction. The ultimate victory for these spirits is to lead you and as many others, to Death. Remember they are Evil Spirits, and they lie and do not die. They just move on to a new host Body, once yours is used up. You do not die either, but the Body you need to live your life through, may die or become crippled, and your Soul can be seriously damaged.
Another thing that the Spirits of Alcohol do is they make you displace or loose consciousness. These Spirits have an affect on the Spirit of Water. Water is life and consciousness! When you drink, you know that the Alcohol has the ability to make your body dehydrated. That is the physical symptom. The spiritual symptom is the "Battle for Consciousness" that takes place. Many people have experienced this battle and know they have lost, when they have black-outs. This loss of consciousness is when the Spirits of Alcohol are in absolute control of your Body.
These Alcohol Spirits need to cling to your weaknesses and feed on them. They search for weaknesses in your Spirit. If you have a Gluttonous Spirit flowing through you, or a Wanton Spirit, or a Destructive Spirit flowing through you, then these evil spirits, using the doorway or portal of alcohol, enter your body and attach to the weaknesses in your Spirit. They then enhance that weakness and cause you to do the things you know are wrong. You are drunk and in a weakened condition, so you comply easily with these evil spirits. Later, through further manipulation of your emotions, these evil spirits may make you feel "guilty" or "desirous", so you will desire to go and have another drink, or feel guilty about being weak and drinking, and want to drown out these emotions, helping these evil spirits even more. You are now captive to the Spirits of Alcohol. You have become a willing participant in their vicious cycle of Alcoholic Destruction. They get real happy, when you are struggling or completely destroyed or dead, or when they can cause destruction in the moral and physical lives of others around you. These Evil Spirits have then succeeded in fulfilling their purpose, with your help. They need your co-operation to host their party of destruction.
What can you do? You just have to choose not to lift the glass! See the Evil Little Spirits looking up at you. Knowing what the problem is, seeing the evil beings, naming the spirits that you are trying to defeat, is the largest part of this battle. Alcoholism is a State of Being. One cannot be a Human Being, when one is an Alcoholic. You are an Alcoholic Being! For the Spirits of Alcohol are in control of your Being. When you Stop drinking, you begin to take control of your life and become a human being again. You defeat the Spirits of Alcohol and help yourself and all of us. You demonstrate Love for yourself and Love for others. You defeat Evil. Know that when you defeat the Spirits of Alcohol, you have defeated a small army or evil. Evil Spirits are only strong if you empower them. Love and goodness can overpower all evil. You can choose to be a victorious warrior, defending your life and the life of others. What a Victory for All Life!
This leads to one other point. I have tried to share this with others in Healing Circles and I feel it needs to be brought up everywhere! To begin with, Healing is supposed to be a support step, not a life-long career. I have always felt that Support Programs, do not elevate your thoughts and take you far enough on your journey of recovery. Many groups use a certain format and it works something like this; they make you stand up and say "Hi, I am "your name" and I am an alcoholic" which is good, when you first start any healing program, for you need to admit there is a problem and you need to recognise all the aspects of that problem. You definitely need to except your responsibilities. The responsibilities you have for yourself, for others, and for the problems arising from your lack of control over your habit of drinking and the desires of your addiction.
Now, I understand that one can go to meetings for years, and say the same introduction over and over. My question is this... "When can one say they have defeated these Evil Spirits?" " When can one say, they are healed and whole?" "When does one say, they are no longer an Alcoholic?" At some point you can actually heal and become whole once more, not dependent on alcohol and the life associated with alcohol. If you don't believe you can become whole, why quit drinking?
As a Spiritual Teacher, I know that every time you say; "I am This", you call in that Spirit. You are or become "This Spirit". So when one says; "Hello, I am 'your name' and I am an Alcoholic", they are an alcoholic, over and over, and that Alcoholic Spirit is invited to come and flow through you, and is once again flowing through you, when you leave your meetings. No wonder, it is so hard to quit! If one does not order these Evil Spirits to leave and stay away...they stay with you!
Why not stand and say "Hi, I am 'your name' and I am working on Health and Wholeness!" Call those strong and powerful Spirits to you. Give yourself a gift, each and every time you say those words, "I am healthy and whole", so you become more healthy and whole! Then one can immediately defeat the Spirits of Alcohol! You are what you say you are! Your thoughts become You. Become healthy and whole. If you made mistakes in the Past, why repeat them? If they were wrong before, repeating them, talking about them, won't make them any better, now. Your past, is better left in the past, where it belongs. Practise forgiving yourself and others. Concentrate on the gift, of this day. Go forward and make a new life and a new future, each and every day!
You need to let go of the Evil Spirits of Alcohol, that have a hold over you and/or your family. Bring the Spirits of Health and Wholeness, as gifts for everyone around you! Put childish things behind you and walk like an adult, Clean and Sober. Remember too, that giving is better than receiving and sharing is the greatest gift of all! Share the gift of Sobriety, Health, Wholeness and Demonstrate your Love for others!

Why is alcohol such a problem for us? Alcohol when metabolized binds to the same receptor site in the brain as heroin. This is why it is so addictive-why so few people ever recover and why it dances in the darkness. Alcohol engenders dark and destructive behavior- that harms them and all around them. It has corrupted many souls. It is the primary force behind abuse of the Goddess and the Children.
We gather to pray for Peace and Healing that brings by grace inner peace which is the foundation upon which planetary peace can happen. One cannot find inner peace in the world of alcohol and heroin. These dark substances prevent the finding of inner peace in whomever they have conquered. We are being terrorized by people using alcohol in and out of the gathering, beatings, robberies, attempted murders, extortion, exposing our women and children to all this darkness.

Why were kegs of beer allowed in the gathering this year- In Main Circle? Why was alcohol being sold at trade circle? Who Authorized this? There was no discussion of these matters at Thanksgiving Council or at Spring Council. The consensus at these councils was that “A- Camp” was to be separated from the main gate and only those souls who were spiritually ready to bridge that separation and come home would be able to do so. “A-Camp” was not to be on the road harassing people and terrorizing people who came for the peace and healing! There was an A-camp shuttle set up for and by A-camp to take people out of the gathering and get them drunk and bring them back into sacred space. This behavior corrupts and damages sacred space-and cannot be allowed to happen again. We must take whatever measures are necessary to protect the women and children. You do not let the fox guard the hen house.

The So-called “Non-Leaders” of the family-who did not attend the councils for this Colorado Gathering-Berry Plunker,Garrick Beck, and Stephen Principal, told us in word and deed that it was Ok that alcohol was in the gathering and at the main circle on the 4th of July- That it was “ Politically Necessary” – and that the 5th world of peace and unity would have alcohol and heroin in it, and it would be OK. Well it is a good thing that there are no leaders in the rainbow family, because these non-leaders are truly non-leaders- justifying ideologically and politically the disturbance of our sacred space in which we come to pray for peace and healing.. No wonder the ancient tribes of turtle Island do not respect the Rainbow Tribe-they shake their head at our spiritual immaturity. Being wiser, they do not want the darkness of alcohol in their tribes. We do not honor the women. We do not listen to their council- it is a good ol’ boys network that decides. We do not put the women and children first.

We chose the freedom to go to hell in a bottle over the protection of the women and the children.
The men- the good ol’ boys- have a thousand rationalizations for why alcohol and “A-Camp” should be at the gathering. We allow alcohol into our temple. We open the door to our shadow side where darkness lies and we expose our children- Sacred souls- to this darkness.
The men are not thinking of the good of the circle-the whole body of this tribe. It is only the mothers- the women- who have the understanding that comes from love-divine love. Ask the Mothers, listen to the Mothers. Do what the great spirit asks us to do through the Mothers. The mothers do not want their children exposed to alcohol and alcoholic behavior. We do not want men dominating the councils by numbers or by intimidation. Men do not create or honor life- They either destroy it or protect it.
Because we do not protect the women and the children, they will stop coming and pretty soon we will have just a gathering of good ol. boys drinking and asking each other where has the Goddess and the Children gone?
Children of Crystal Vibration in a channel in May of 1997. Here they spoke of their attributes and said "if you can make the planet safe for them , they will come".
Firstly, thay are extremely powerful, with abilities that you would often see as magical. Secondly, they are extremely vulnerable with exceptional sensitivity to lower vibrational energies.As we have mentioned, the Children of Crystal Vibration have a crystalline structure that allows them to carry more light within their physical being. It is this crystalline structure that caused them to reflect back those things for which they have no reference. Being as powerful as they are, they not only reflect back energies for which they have no reference, but in the process they will amplify that energy as well. In as little as 150 years these attributes will be commonplace, yet those who are the first to carry these in physical form may experience considerable challenges.

. These gentle beings are extremely sensitive to their surroundings and to outside stimuli that are not in harmony with the higher vibration they themselves hold. This actually gives them the appearance of being weak, when in reality they are advanced, powerful human beings. We ask that you begin to observe and to question all outside stimuli, even those that may have been previously used to promote health.You will also find that the Children of Crystal Vibration are sensitive to all vibrational input. Vibration in all forms such as sound, colour, ambient electromagnetic fields and environmental pollutants can have unsettling effects on the Crystal Children. Their hypersensitivity to vibration can be felt on many levls including magnetic, electromagnetic, environmental, aroma, sound, color, and various other forms of vibrational energy. These children are hypersensitive to their environment and are particularly vulnerable to pollutants. Even today you are finding that certain color combinations are having strange effects on some Crystal Children. We tell you that even what you have referred to as "gang colors" was an unconscious attempt to control this input to lower levels of vibration. It is these lower levels of vibration to which the Crystal Children are ultra sensitive.

First, the Indigo Children lead with a machete, cutting down anything that lacks integrity. Then the Crystal Children follow the cleared path, into a safer and more secure world.



What kind of spiritual expression or church invites the predators and the alcoholics into itself in the presence of the women and children.
We are a laughing stock to Babylon. When we proclaim that we are the family of Living Light, but allow all this darkness to reside in our spiritual body. Alcohol breeds LEOs, sheriffs, bad press, bad relations, and bad memories. When our sacred elders are beaten nearly to death by the energies coming out of “A-Camp” ,we are telling the world we are not of the light.
We want to defend our gatherings under the freedom of religion clause in the constitution-as a non- organized religious body. Yet, since we allow the darkness so much freedom and will not protect the women and the children, we appear as hypocrites- as fools trying to disguise our gathering as a spiritual thing when it has become a babylonian party in the woods.

If we want to provide the opportunity for the spirit of healing to enter” A-Camp” it needs to be separated- truly separated from the main gathering with the understanding that those souls addicted to alcohol- liquid heroin- have an opportunity to build a bridge to come home to their higher self with our help-to come into the church for healing. Yet, we cannot any longer endure inviting this troubled energy into the heart of our church. The heart of our church must be kept holy and the Mothers and the children must be protected at all costs.

Peace be with you Sister, but please do not rush to such broad generalizations. I fully enjoy a nice craft-brewed beer or some fine wine, and have never had any Jekyll-and-Hyde turnabouts as would be implicit in your post. I have always abstained while inside the gathering, as a matter of "fasting" as a platform for deeper spiritual experiences. However, I felt compelled to critique your embrace of such an extremist viewpoint. The best personal example I can share are some brothers who were militant straight-edgers back in my skate days. They used to preach at us non-stop about the wicked ways of alcohol much as your quoted source does(when we'd simply be having a few beers, NOT going blotto) ; several of them are now dead from heroin overdoses. Meanwhile, those who they preached to are still just having the recreational few beers or glasses of wine, never having gone to extremes. When you play with extremes in any direction, you swing HARD the other way when you finally do. Moderation is the key to success in life, in all matters. Namaste.

 

Again, I agree with malakala. I love beer. I love hanging out at brewaries and drinking microbrews in comradarie with others. Does that make me evil? No. Do I get absurdly drunk? No. Am I addicted? No. Even if addiction runs in my family. I enjoy the TASTE...not the feeling I get from drinking it.

I have no problems with A-campers, personally. Hell, they're always the first to welcome us in. They, just like everyone else are a part of our family. Are they rough around the edges? Of course...but that doesn't make them bad people. I've seen hard drugs at gatherings...At least A-campers are in their own camp...these hard drugs can be found everywhere...infiltrating everything. Alcohol is only a small part of the family's problems. We have a lot more demons to slay. Alcohol is certainly not the largest problem we have.

 

Good gracious Annie! We're cut of the same cloth eh? My wife and I regularly visit the local micro/craft breweries whenever we travel. We don't get blitzed, and we feel as though we're supporting a true grass roots craft. Next time we're in your neck of the woods, we'll have to grab a sampler tray together!!!

you know what I saw many tweakers at the gathering, so what's worst alcohol or meth?

 

My dad is an alcoholic, my mom was hooked on meth. My dad is alive, my mom is dead....

What does that say?

 

that was exactly what I was trying to get at. yeah, alcoholics may get out of hand, but meth heads in my opinion are worst. They not only can kill themselves, but could harm others.

 

Drinking a beer is one thing....having something ruin your life is another....and you cant blame the vice for the folly....its up to you.

Beer...coke...crack...pot....shoes...all can be done in excess...

 

we don't even drink & we can't hang with the extreemism in Kara's post. we love our A-camp bros & sises & we wouldn't think of having them 'cut off' from the church; heck a lot of those A-campers come spend a sober day at our kitchen & all our regular crew are A-campers who like to spend the Gathering dry.

Sadness to Kara for not being able to see that the Healing comes from Loving folks for who they are.......................Through Love All Things Are Possible..................

 

its too bad that i feel so criticised because i love beer. its no harm to me. some have pot, i have beer. same thing. i realize there are about 1 in 10 folks who get way out of hand with their relationship with alcohol. but the fact is, if your not a violent person, alcohol does not make you violent. if it does, you obviouly have some repressed violent tendancies and it is not the alcohol's fault, it is yours.
but let me just say alocohol and a-camp are two different entities. i drink every day, but i still stay away from a-camp.

alcohol will always be around to some extent. A-camp is ruining the gathering. especially regionals.

 

alcohol causes non-drinkers to become agro.

 

within the drunkeness and in the woods and of people who are wild there persists ritualized violence - it too is an old , old way . a victim is chosen and once victimized there arises a primal passionate scream from the gathered . the ritual exists and is not always terribly vilolent . sometimes it is .

 

I've given up the juice as well.

 

Most folks grow out of it. Some dont and get addicted.

also in my viewing of that little boozy tribal group that's camped out there near the main entrance to the Gathering tho just beyond - the place you might hear ' rainbowland is THat Wayy BUcko' - there , they have a Leader . the ritual violence is directed by that one - at least that's how i once was a chosen victim . there was a knife ...
