Religions description of god is BLASPHEMOUS.. a joke. a fakirs web.
As for hell.. god would be the first critter to say 'thats rubbish'

God needs no religion. Man is not his son..
man is a thing he grew like a plant. Who here thinks they are 'direct lineage to god' are arrogant fools.

Pity you can't find terms not derived from religion to criticize it. How can it be blasphemy if there is no God? It simply doesn't make sense.

It would also be more accurate to say humans (don't like the sexist 'man' in this context) grew like animals rather than plants.

 

You know me. I have no love of religion either.

But useless? Not at all.

You must crawl before you walk. You must walk before you run. You must run before you fly.

Religion fits in there nicely, but its not what gives you the ability to fly.

There is no similarity in the effects of lsd and charlie.
The latter is pure mind fuck. All it does is inflate the ego and narrow down perception and feeling, and has led to the horrendous situation in comumbia.

Further, whilst lsd is entirely safe in terms of it not doing any physical damage, the same certainly can't be said for coke.

It's just that we don't want to add to the confusion over 'drugs'. It's better really not to lump things like lsd and coke together, as it gives lsd a bad image which is undeserved.

Finally, this is something we can both agree on.

I too, find a certain sense of spirituality, a certain sense of mystery to be a good thing. But not too much...

Like a drug, too much religion can be bad, not the other way around.

As the old adage goes, too much of a good thing can be bad.

As for interpretations of christianity, many of them are insane, and have led to nothing but trouble in the world, as they continue to do today.

Christians are raised to be enthusiastic about their good news. When its all you've known, its easy to lose sight of the fact that other faiths have their own version of this same good news. Same could be said for Islam.

It is the inability to accept any other path that condemns both these religions to eventual failure from within. Rigid means strength. But it also means weakness to shock.

It is the power elite of the world that are swinging these two rigid bodies together. Faith is being used like a ring through the nose of a bull. It leads the masses to whatever direction is determined for them.

Not spiritual leadership. Far from it. This leadership is pure mind over mind. It does not care for your gods. It does not care for you.
