adrenochrome is just oxidised adrenalin. you wouldnt die from taking adrenalin unless you took a lot, just like any other sorta drug. theres little conclusive data on the actual effects of adrenochrome as a psychedelic so youd be taking a punt at a possibility that its anything like how its portrayed in the media though fear and loathing primarily i can imagine it would mess you about though, however much or little
oh btw i missed the bit in the topic post which asked about eating, no eating wont work unless perhaps if it was in a very concentrated form, not just eating the organs. i dont even know if its possible to administer orally anyway, maybe that was just a f&l thing, maybe not (it was pure in that)
Well I do know that adrenochrome was used in the early 50s to bring on the effects similar to schizophrenia, which was studyed alot back then before the marketing of LSD. So, say if i get like 6 pars of adrenal glands, and left them out in the air to oxidize. Would that work?

k, most of this thread is just mean people calling misinformed people stupid retards. from what i have read adrenochrome is more just kind of a rush, not the first wave feels like a combination of mescaline and methedrine. so while being pschoactive it is relativly uninteresting accept for the myth behind it. people just be rational, calm, and not huge douche bags to each others, ok?
The importance of that scene wasn't so much "check out a heavier drug" as it was "hey, here's a bad trip on something harsh". And the big part to that is it was the first time he tried a drug that was said to be really heavy, and he took too much, man. The adreniline is the part of your mind that could cause the powers of psychedilic drugs to fall into the wrong hands - charles manson - because if you want to find the fun stuff in a natural human existance, you have to be pure of heart - and the adreneline is what fuels mayhem - it allows you to take action with out total approval from the rest of your inner workings - think about it - it's what you get in a panic attack - and that's when you're more willing to do something crazy or irrational.
