They had a special, $4.99 for a six pack. Picked up a pack of Amber and a pack of Purple Haze. Damn, If only I was in shape to fix some red beans and rice with okra. Mmmmm... okra. Bah, that would require another trip to the store, at 2:30 AM, drunk. To quote the great Some Wiseguy, "Fuck that shit." There's always tomorrow, and tomorrow night I will eat delicious red beans and rice with savory okra and magickal cajun spices in it, so help me gods. Son of a gun gonna have big fun on the bayou.
Abita has a nice line of beers. I prefer the Amber and Turbodog. Purple Haze is way too fruity for me. For those who don't know, Purple Haze is a raspberry wheat, with a strong emphasis on the raspberry. For light beer drinkers, Abita Light is a great alternative to the macros. There's also an Abita Golden, which I'm not a fan of but it's not bad.
