EDIT: Sticky please. Hi n00bs. I am sure you have many questions about your n00bh00d. Well, to start with the end: you are no longer a n00b when you reach a 2500 posts. You are then considered a junior poster. Ofcourse, until you reach 10,000 posts you will have to listen to and respect us senior posters. Do not argue with us nor disagree with us. As a n00b, you have no rights whatsoever to your own opinion. This is not appreciated nor wanted by us seniors. As a junior, you may voice some opinions, but no strong ones and no opinions that go directly against an opinion of a senior poster. Look and learn. Show a lot of respect and possible suck up a little to higher ranked members. This never did anyone any harm. Observe, smile and think about the fact that us seniors where n00bs too at one point. Don't think about that too long or you might want to taste the sweetness of this beautiful rank before it is your time. This will just hurt your feelings and nobody will care about that at this point in your forum career. And in a few years, you may be a senior and get the respect that comes with the title. Have fun on the fora! EDIT: Sticky please.
I think I may be a senior by the end of this year if I take a few more long weekends *laughs* I thought 1000 posts was a senior member anyway?
No, n00b. It takes 2500 posts to become a real junior member here at RT. Read carefully. I make no mistakes, for I am a senior.
Okay n00b, here is the deal. I am right and you are wrong by default. This because of our status difference. If you want to critisize someone, do it to another n00b nad definately NOT to a senior poster.
Noob is a state of mind....usually manifesting in the use of the word noob in thread titles and post of condemnation.
Ahhhhhh those heady heights that we Noobs aspire to. Does it feel different when you wake up the next day? Can people tell by looking at you? Do people ask for autographs?
Us seniors deserve respect on the fora and this obviously seeps through to our personal lives. Autographs? No obviously not. This mostly stays online. A little extra respect and a little straighter back? Definately, that comes with the years of hard work on these fora.
Dude, you have 310 posts at this moment. Grow some respect for a senior poster with 10k+ and accept your fate. This is the way the world and RT works. You won't be a n00b forever, juniorhood is a quite nice thing to strive for.
ha. Only a noob would believe a post count = time on forum. As already posted..noob is a state of mind. You seem to be infected.
Hey man, if you take pride in your post count and want some recognition and respect for it, that's fine with me. Congratulations on your post count! Good job! I hope you enjoyed the hours you put into it.
Thanks man. Finally a n00b who understands and appreciates the concept of seniority and gives a senior the proper respect. Only a few thousand more before you become a junior. Keep up the good work.
Almost a senior, Redy. You will finally get the respect you longed for since you signed up. Keep up the good work and we will be equals soon.
