so i've seen a fair amount of americans stance on marijuana, cnn for example well i watched in pot we trust last night good gosh are you all really that stupid? it quite literally hurt my head obviously this site has a more biased view on the subject, but americans please inform me as to how your government can act so ignorantly towards the use of medicinal marijuana
what were they talking about anyway? plenty of people smoke weed here, though not as high of a percentage as in the state up north
Us americans are usually too busy waving our flags and pledging allegience to be bothered with education ourselves about marijuana. Besides only bleeding heart anti-american lefties smoke that stuff. Praise be jesus,
yeah all ive been seeing lately is a crap ton of propoganda, like the shit madcrappie keeps posting. its like reefer madness all over again now there are a few counties near where i live that has made personal marijuana offenses the lowest priority of the law. like in my town if you are caught with anything under a half o the cops will just give it back to you, unless the cop is a real dick. because quite honestly the cops here have bigger shit to deal with. and thats the way it should be. i think california is less strict when it comes to medical marijuana. i mean all you gotta do is say you got sore hands or ADD and you can get a club card. yes, its that easy. but people are indeed very ignorant
i know a lot of ppl who smoke weed, but alcohol use is waaaaay more common. you get drug tested for minimum wage jobs around here so ppl have to be kinda careful. but yeah i haven't seen that movie so i don't know exactly what you want to know
On the topic... My friends promised me a foot long blunt to be ready for me the day I get back to Arkansas.
Because most people dont question the government, even if they chief like a champ. Apparently its unpatriotic. And I hate to say this, but in terms of medicinal mj the canadian government isnt much better. Dont get me wrong they are MUCH more rational, but are still pretty ignorant about it. But overall Canada is so much better about this stuff because they dont enforce the weed laws in a gestapo like manner. Im seriously considering vancouver for the weed culture and insane snow. What part of In Pot We Trust made you think about this? I saw that the other day and thought it was pretty good. I felt really bad for the woman from kansas city.
All you get is like a traffic ticket here for under a certain fairly high amount seriously, isn't stereotyping all americans as douchebags very 2003?
Are there a lot of burners in Arkansas? I heard the laws are ridiculous there like 5 years for an ounce.
Alaska state law allows us one ounce for personal use in the privacy of our own homes. Our last governor managed to get that changed from four ounces. If not for those pesky federal laws we'd be in good shape.
Yes, the law is pretty tough, and cops are very hard on kids, even if they only have shake on them. Smoking in a car ain't a good idea. But... yes, there are a whole bunch of smokers, especially in the Little Rock area. We just do it at home in a chill setting, or at parties. I really like the bohemian party scene in my town... crazy dancing house parties with live bands, wine, and marijuana smoke... cool kids, no hard drugs, nice atmosphere.
Theres really no logic to it. There are many many Americans who've just been so brainwashed by the massive media empire here, that will hold on to misconceptions for decades.
I live in Missouri and these are our laws for possesion... Possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana is a misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine up to $1,000. Possession of greater than 35 grams is a felony and is punishable by up to seven years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000. Possession of greater than 30 kilograms is considered trafficking and the penalty is 5 - 15 years in prison. Possession of 100 kilograms or more carries a penalty of 10 years - life in prison.
