what i don't understand, with all the talk of curtains, is why she couldn't just move to the side of the window? i personally never close my blinds to change. because my window doesn't cover my entire damn wall. i step to the side and become magically invisible to the outside world...

Who knows if this guy has been out on the prowl searching for anyone with an open window?

Stop being so judgmental just because she lives on the third floor of a house with a window in the back that faces the wall of a building with a tree covering most of her window and she doesn't have blinds up.

She has material to make curtains but doesn't own a sewing machines.

Yeesh. It's no wonder I have abstained from posting in RT for quite some time now. The attitudes and behaviour really haven't changed much at all.

 

This is what she does. She doesn't stand and look outside and wave at people while she gets dressed.

Oy. Common sense.

Where she hangs her clothes is in front of the window - so when she's picking something out at her dresser, she's visible from afar when the light is on at night - but you can't see in very well during the day.

 

The thing is, you have to *really* be looking and peeping to see into that apartment window. It's up high, covered, further in the back of the apartment and not visible to see in very well unless a light is on at night.

This dude was peeping in the day before he went to work.

I really think we do need to blame the roomate here, she wouldn't go into crack down in the middle of the night wearing a miniskirt (weird analogy but its early and all i can think of) without knowing that she could be in danger, the same goes for changing in front of a window...you have to know theres a possibility of someone who WILL look if they see some action.....

if you dont want to be spied on don't change in front of the window, if you dont want to be gang raped and murdered then dont go into crack town at night

its all about personal safety and awareness
