A newbie introduction....

Hello all,

My name is Kim and I have joined the room in an attempt to meet other Tie-Dyer's who are willing to share thier knowledge and experience.

I live in Northern CA. I'm a single mother of 2 teenagers. One has recently left for college and the other has a couple of years to go. I retired at a young age due to a gnarly attack at work. I'm in the start up phase of my own business.

I recently discovered I have a passion for Tie-Dye. I can honestly say I have never been an artistic person (even my stick figures are goofy). I have always admired my mothers art talent. She has a natural flow with color. I recently tried Tie-Dye and have found my medium. I absolutely love it and have started researching everything I can find on-line. In doing so I have stumbled upon some awesome sites...... Who knew!

Skip and The Team...... Thank you very much for your time and efforts in creating and sustaining this site. I can not even begin to imagine the amount of work it has taken you to create this forum. Not to the mention the hours you must invest maintaining it. I feel as though I have landed on the planet I was originally intended for.
