there are no "holy men". there is only, once every thousand years, give or take a few hundred, something that might be god or a god, picks some poor bastard to be channeled by. its been a hundred and sixty, almost a hundred and seventy, since the last of these, so we can't really expect the next one to come along for another eight hundred and fifty or so, give or take, unless we run into people from some other world, who, when we do, will have had one more recently.
