    Shuffling the cards;
    the sameness of one side
    hides the other.

    Interweaving combinations,
    permutations of change.
    Shifting constant variables
    in Archetypal revolutions.

    Placing tracts of land,
    like energetic grounds,
    to foster the willpower
    needed to manifest creatures.

    Unrolling a theme,
    set in elemental hues,
    like a creator of community
    betwixt elves and rainbow vales.

    Verdant green hues spill fertile,
    as quick exponential free-draws;
    adding enchantment upon enchantment
    before priestesses and avatars arrive.

    Swiftly penetrating opposite obstacles,
    to protect and surmount,
in this unfolding game of chance.
Why is killing present in our games?

The last line is abrupt, almost as if a child had interrupted to ask the question.

Why? Because that's the nature of the representation we recieve throught our perception, that one thing is destroying another, when, in fact, two things are becoming one. Borderline psychopath talk, no doubt, but when one penetrates deeper into this mystery they start finding reasons not to coalesce in that way, because of the discovery of other methods. A Rainbow, An Arrow, A Sword and A Serpent, eh?

    Much Love :)

Burn: My pleasure, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

ghost_of_the_river: Thank you for the positive comments.

With this last lit match, of the moment,
will you choose to extinguish it or light anew.

    One match is never enough.

    Each one in its turn
    must be extinguished.

    Yet in every shadow
there is a flash of light.
Yet from every flash of light,
    a shadow that grows
    longer, within which
    we might find, that divine
    spark, our selves, the self,
the no thing beyond the hell,
    and the glistening stars
    in the twilight, and
    the blackness of pupils
in the whites of the eyes
    that percieve this great deception,
    in wonder, as fireworks erupt
to mar the tranquility of night.

The child laughs, and claps her hands.

The man smiles, and feels renewed.

A tear rolls silently from the woman's eye.

    We are alive.

    WE ARE ALIVE!

    Much Love :)

Thank you for this exquisite poetic sharing.
Yes, we are very much alive. Regardless of whom we allow to see us,
including ourselves... you, however, are quite clear with each new expression.
