A Good Party

There party pics thread in the idiot lounge got me thinkin'...

What makes a good party for you? What kind of parties do you usually have? What kind of parties do you like?

It seems to be a never-ending party at my house in school. There are always people over and someone is drinking everynight, but it gets really wild on the weekends. If there's a party at the house we usually crap a lot of people in there, blast a whole lot of metal, burn furniture outside, drink a lot, climb on the roof, smoke, and get injured.

My friends and I are kinda known around town for destroying parties. We love to go to hipster parties in a horde, destroy their faggoty dance parties by moshing on the dance floor, climb on their roof and throw shit at people, drink their beer, start fires, and generally piss people off while having a great time ourselves. If anyone tries to pick a fight, they get beaten up, but they are usually way too intimidated to start fights to begin with.

Otherwise, I live house parties with a lot of people. I really don't like the whole youth scene lately with the faggoty DJ music and such. I miss the ol' parties with wild beer drinking adventures and dancin' to true rock n' roll.

All in all something bad and hilarious happens every weekend, someone always gets hurt, the cops ALWAYS get called, and the house is always trashed.

My kind of parties...you already saw in the "idiot lounge." lol. Lame as hell and that's how I prefer them. I'm not a partier, I hate people who think the quality or the amount of parties they've been to means shit. My brother is one of those "party all the time, every day" type of people and I really want to punch him in the face 99% of the time.

 

i dont like stupidity and especially not drunken stupidity,therefore i dont like parties..

 

It's a shame, a little drunken stupidity is good for the soul.

Not the body though, it tends to make you more vulnerable to getting concussions.

at school, the best parties were outside where we could have a big fire and a whole bunch of people, with some good music and food off the grill. then as the night goes on, the douchebags leave and its just a smaller group of good friends hanging out as the fire dies down - which is when we decide to start burning more random shit

 

Burning random shit with good friends is great.

One day we didn't want to stop burning shit so we burned all the furniture. My friend was kinda pissed about us burning the desk his grandma gave him.

I don't like parties...I only partied for a little bit because that's what kids are "supposed to do." I'd much rather just have a nice blunt rolled and sit and and listen to music with a few friends than watch a bunch of blathering drunk idiots puke all over the place. Ever since my friend puked in my hall RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE GODDAMNED BATHROOM after laying in the hall in his underwear for 45 minutes, I tell everyone that they puke outside. They puke inside and they're cleaning it up and going the fuck home. Few things piss me off more than idiots drinking way too much and then making a fucking mess.

 

i don't like asshole parties.

i like chill. i like rockin. i like partyin with free spirits. the parties i went to early in college were lame. bonfires with the right people are a lot of fun.

parties with laid back people without superiority complexes or the need to prove themselves are pretty rare but pretty cool too

 

there is a lot of variety in a good party. having a high ratio of idiots to cool people usually makes a party suck, but even then, not necessarily.

all parties described here have potential, except for these dance parties that bsr apparently keeps running across. but if shit gets burned, even those could be fun.

 

You can't imagine how shitty the "hip" college student scene is these days.
