(note i wrote this elsewhere so im not talking to anyone here like they are dumb... for those of you who just need to read the end... read my questions at the end and think... did we realllllly make any progress? it's close to a time to celebrate but more a time to mourn, progress wise) 7 years and I still remember that day. I remember sleeping in, getting the three calls on my answering machine, ... I was taking a bath and had to go on the forums and ask what had happened and I was told. At that point no one really knew though what was going on. In the days to follow I remember how much spirit everyone had for this country... then it all went down hill. Bush being "elected" twice... people being blocked by fear and lies. Not seeing the truth...allowing their freedoms to be stripped away. More and more I have been seeing an awakening of minds...realizing what the FUCK HAPPENED and what is STILL HAPPENING and HOW IT HAPPENED. which is good. there IS hope. but sadily...it's not enough. for every one person there is with their eyes at least slighly opened there are four haters... and two skeptics. The skeptics are cool.. it's hard to twist your head around... but seriously... this 9/11 while it is truly getting OUT OF PEOPLE'S MINDS PUT IT IN YOURS do not FORGET that innocent people died for a purpose to deceive and take everything from all of us... to give it all to the world banks and make us just numbers (which we already are...unless we WAKE UP!!) Seriously this 9/11...mourn. don't ever forget. And if you saw the light and shared it, give yourself a hug. Then ask yourself this sad question... Was it enough? Did we do enough? Unfortunally this is why I truly am ready to cry. As much progress that has been made, I do not see it as being ENOUGH. But good looking out regardless. Maybe next year we can ask the same question and have a different answer. And maybe next year it'll be too late. Tis what happens when you gamble...
I'm so sick of hearing about 9/11, I mean no offense to the people that lost someone in it, it was a horrible day for everyone, but I went into a college for a history degree, and if one thing a love of history has taught me is it's important to know history, not dwell on it, not all these shows about it, all these tributes, all this obession. Remember it, mourn those people, then move on and make the world better from the mistakes we learned that day.
My condolences to the victims who have often been forgotten in all the politics that surround this issue. .
Freedom is fucked in the USA. It is almost completely over. Are the people who died in 9/11 any more special than the people in the Oklahoma bombing? How about people who get murdered every day. You know the people who have no fame or fortune. Is it any more tragic than someone dying because of starvation or medical negligence in a hospital? 9/11 is a battle cry for those that are taking away our freedom. It is a done deal now. The masses are eating it up. They are scared as hell and demanding security. The same people they are looking to for security are going to be leading the masses into enslavement. No sorry. I do not give a fuck about 9/11. Right now I am sad for the USA and its people loosing the one thing that really matters...freedom.
ummmmmm except they pawned 9/11 to take away our freedoms and much more and most people are still not waking up and in fact, acting exactly like you... id say that is a cause for NOT forgetting it and being sad cause they woken up people failed. so far. im sick of hearing the MEDIA'S 9/11 BS too. But that doesn't mean I don't think it's more SIGNIFICANT today then ever. Just gotta dig deeper.
is no one even getting what i said? fuck i was sick of "9/11" years ago. i dont even WATCH the news. However to compare a bombing that was likely real to something staged to set the stage for all that is to come is lame. remember i wrote my original post for a diff board... but the end where i wrote "did we really accomplish anything?" "HAVE we really woken anyone up?" "have we made any real progress?" ...that is what i'd love people with half a mind to ponder and what better day then the day that set the stage for all that has been snowballing. seriously. "omgz11 i'm so sick of 9/11... " "okay when you're totally FUCKED tell me that.....seriously, i dare you to try"
who gives a fuck about the u.s.? in my mind AND the minds of the world powers the u.s. does not exist it's the whole world. like who even said U.S? this is the facade and mask that has been put on to fool people. let the u.s. burn. i'll burn it down. but i'll fight til i die to defend TRUE freedom.
I can remember the exact day it happens. Everybody at school was freaking out, crying, worrying about getting conscripted, bombed, terrorised. I could foresee the whole sick drama of the next 7 years panning out before my eyes.
I had to go back to this cause I went to smoke and thought about this post. First and foremost, I do mourn for the innocent lives lost and say prayers for them and their families on this day. However, I do wonder how can you suggest people bring politics into something that was created for a "political purpose" (in quotes cause it's not the best phrasing but yeah..) ? You can't bring politics into something that was orchestrated already for a purpose. Not wanting to talk about the truth of it doesn't make it not exist. So I guess I am confused.
btw... thank you matty. i hope you realize how much you inspire people and for every five people who joke about you... there are probably 2 that listen and one of those two people will go do their own homework and go beyond here.. well, that is best case scenerio but yeah.. i'm serious. YOU have done good.
This was not an attack on you. This was my reaction to a 9/11 post. You gave your opinion, and I gave mine. I am not fucked I have resources and places where I can buy freedom. I said freedom is fucked. Did you not read what I said? I never said it was staged. I believe I said 9/11 is being used to take away freedom. Have we accomplished anything..Yes we are trading freedom for security and we will get neither.
yikes. did not think it was an attack on me at all so no worries. yeah you gave yours and i just re- read it and other then matt and then andy it was the most decent post... i might have took out a bit of aggression on you though i did not mean to. i think it was the other two posts that annoyed me. anyways ill say it was staged... if staged means it really happened the the purpose in advance to take away freedom. i dont see how we differ really. I guess now that I re-looked the only thing I had an "issue" with in your posting were these statements because, of course, no one life is better then another. the people getting murdered every day...hunnie, more often then not, I am either there or very near by praying for them around where I live.... however... how 9/11 differes is i doubt the drive bys in my neighborhood have an agenda like 9/11. you gotta remember when you mourn 9/11 that it IS being used to hurt us ALLLL so yeah, it is huge. here is what you said in quotes "Are the people who died in 9/11 any more special than the people in the Oklahoma bombing? How about people who get murdered every day. You know the people who have no fame or fortune. Is it any more tragic than someone dying because of starvation or medical negligence in a hospital?" Freedom for security should be them not we if that makes sense. because me and anyone i associatte with (im actually very pickey) do not, nor have we ever, nor WOULD we ever, chose security over freedom... it's the dumbasses in this country who still believe al aqueida fucking bombed the world trade center. it's the dumbasses who believed those red, orange, yellow fucking freedom terrorist bullshit propoganda lies and the people who need a HUGE bitch slap from me.. the worlds biggest bitch. but me? you even? nah. i don't think either one of us were involved. i think we are on the wrong side. let me go re-read shit real fast. btw i asked "have we accomplished anything? and you said "yes we traded freedom for security"- what i meant was.. the people who have been trying to educate and open the brains and minds of the masses... like, 7 years later... have we seen any progress? it's just weird to look back and see if some of us trying our BEST and giving our ALL for this cause... well if it's helping. many people have been at it for longer then me and i'm not sure how. it's tiring. but in the time ive been at it ive seen eyes opened and people waking up. i think the sad thing is though it's just cause they are in an economic recession and it's now the trendy and convenient thing to do. i TRULY ponder to those who have tried their best.. on an anniversary like this... HAS their been progress for the cause? and my answer stays the same... yes, but not enough. next year...
You know you are cool with me. Part of the problem is the media every year constantly brings up 9/11. Lots of people are getting totally sick of hearing about it. Then when people like me hear 9/11 we kind of get sick, It was a terrible thing that happened on 9/11. But no one cares for the other people who die just as tragic.
true. i turned off my tv though six months ago and i would NOT watch the news if i was forced to watch tv. i blame the "people" for watching media then.. not me for bringing up the SIGNIFICANCE of 9/11. it's not my fault so many people are sheep. but i'll be damned if i don't bring up what 9/11 is doing to all of us until we wake up. and yeah not many people care but i've seen multiple people get shot recently.. just playing the dope game ya know..which um cough im out of... goin certain places though.. you see it... and i mourn for those people that i hear or see the shots go off much much more then the people of 9/11. my heart and soul goes out to all my people in the hood living a hard life that will likely get killed and honestly, most people on here? dont have a FUCKING IDEA what their life is like.. im not like them. there are lots of people here that say peace n love and good ideals but when it comes down to actually CARING about a homeless person or a person in the hood... faaaahhh funniest thing ever seriously a joke. i care about these people in my daily life. but 9/11...yea it's not so much the people although you do gotta respect n mourn... but yeah it's how it's STILL being pawned to control everyone and most people do not know it so yes... it's a day to be sad. that the lessons are still not learned.
I'm so sorry to derail the thread, but whenever I look at the word "ponder" in the thread title I think about Pinky and the Brain.
Ponder? Is that some kinky thing you do with algae in a pond with um... with what? where is ganja when i need him? *sobs*
