$500,000 to kill a puppy?

would you kill a puppy for 500,000 dollars? my friend was telling me about some video online where they did a survey and asked this question. when someone said yes, they'd go back to the truck and pull out a puppy and one of those giant checks....

 

I'd say yes, because I'd give most of that away to ease my conscience, and I there are several charities which could do a lot of good for 500 grand, way more then the bad of me killing a puppy.

No, I couldn't do it. I realize it's a lot of money but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Just the thought makes me want to cry.

 

I'd like to think that I could provide for my future with one swing of a blade, but I'm the kind of guy who will put spiders and insects outside, rather than stomp on them.

 

^ me too, man, I go to great lengths to let moths and stuff get back outside when I find them.

But I still think I'd do it. Keep a bit of it of course, but I too would give most away. But I wouldn't do it if all they had was a "Giant check" unless I could cash the damn thing at any bank. I'd need to know that I'd get the money for real. Because it'd be a damn hard thing for me to kill a puppy, because I love dogs. But as Lodui said, that money could help a lot of people, and in the end, it's just a dog. One dead dog that can feed thousands? Yeah, that's worth it.

Same here. Plus, I've always been around dogs. I couldn't even finish watching the news when they had a report on a serial animal abuse case where puppies with missing toes and ears were rescued. I don't usually go all emotional over TV news, but that one...... *shudders*

So, no, I would never kill a puppy, regardless of the amount of money offered.

I might if it was like 1,000,000 or more, but I'd have to like be really really really stoned or something. Actually if I was really really really stoned I'd be accepting at like the $100 mark (or do it by accident).

I think if I actually had the choice I'd not kill the puppy.

This is a difficult with limited reason or information specifics. I know that would be almost ONE MILLION monthy Income paychecks at once...I only had to put to sleep a grown dying dog who was the family pet at 14-years old by feeding him a mixture of sedative's and sleeping pills only due to suffering pain not able to be taken from the cellar where he had went to die. It has been nightmareish to me still so I dont think I could do it other than for that same scenerio a mercy, painless, dignified long needed eternal rest from suffering here.

 

i pay someone else $100 to do it then collect my money.
