Why is the show so much less for Istanbul than for Paris, Brussels, and Orlando?

 

It happened because Turkey is supposedly too moderate.

 

I'm beginning to wonder the same thing. One theory I have is because the world has become normalized to hearing about suicide bombings in West Asia and the Middle East, such as Turkey and Israel, that it doesn't grab their interest as much.... Perhaps?

 

Am I the only one that thinks this thing is kind of a wank?

Lets see who can be the first to light up a national monument in the colors of whichever country just got bombed and post it on facebook,

240 or so injured this time, so they are sitting in hospital somewhere, I'd rather see something about them, than pretty lights on some tourist attraction


In the meantime, according to John Kerry, ISIS have lost 600 fighters and 3000 sq kms of territory in the last month, i.e are getting their arse kicked, thanks in part to the newly co-operative Turkey

Turkey said it was the IS... but the IS hasn't said anything last I heard.
