27 Dead in Mass Shooting at Elementary School in Newton, CT

This is probably the saddest thing I've heard all year. A shooting erupted early this morning involving two gunmen. 27 dead, 18 of those children. State police confirm one shooter is dead while another is at large.

I have a son in elementary school. I cannot imagine what the parents and children are going through right now. What a tragedy what is happening to the world?

My heart is so heavy with sadness for the families of those that passed........it is to me so mindless.

 

How do you know he is a certified 'nut job' and has been seen by mental health professionals and allowed to slip through the net or released? It is too early to blame anybody - especially a system that could have improved or diminished in the last 20-30 years.

 

This has been going on forever. Theres always another to take this ones place. I suppose all the mass killings that happenned before the 80's were Reagans and the NRA's fault to.
As far as the person on the run, Capital Punishment is to good for him, he should be locked in a room with the victims parents and families for a few days.
