This is my first grow ever, and I did some foolish things to start off, one was not writing down the exact date, I believe it was mid April.

Anyways, I have three plants, all around 6 inches tall. They have been growing about a month, I started off by planting them in my window for a few weeks, they were in little bio-degradable pots. They grew extremely fast and became to lanky and ended up leaning over. I transplanted them into lager pots (all of which are around 1.5 - 2 gallons) and to make them grow straight again, I put a stick into the soil next to them and loosely tied them to it so they are behind positioned vertically and not leaning horizontally. Right now they look fine and healthy. Its only been 2 days since moving them so they are most likely still stressed out from that. for leaves they have multiple sets, the latest grown leaves have a three sided shape? Its like oneq major leave with a smaller one splitting off on each side, and another set is starting to grow. Someone told me that set will be the classical 5 sided leaf that is the "Mascot" illustration of marijuana.

Does any one have any information that will help me with the upcoming stages of the plant since I really do not know what happens next, I know the basic vegetation and flowering stages, but since im growing with natural sunlight, Its pretty much on a 12/12 light schedule all the time, or something close to that, how do I know when they will flower and when I should harvest. Any guidance will be extremely appreciated, Thanks everyone.

Btw Im North East America so its extreme winters and pretty hot summers. Today has been a cold day compared to the last few weeks and its 72 degrees F* right now at 5:50.

One more question to, My plants are in a position so the sun will give them less because my house blocks off the sunlight at about 2ish? should i reposition them to get more sunlight because they are still in veggi stage?

    hey there dirty d

im a first time grower aswell, and ive been arming myself with as much knowledge on growing as possible.

one of my sources is known as the Cannabis Grow Bible, you can download it through limewire or google it!

If your growing your plant outdoors, then just leave it in as much sunlight as possible. If you notice the plants are starting to wilt or develope burn spots, then it needs less sunlight.

It is the Sunlight plant after all and it needs as much as possible without burning up.

it depends on the strain but itll be between 2-4 months that your plant will flower. When you your plant isnt growing after those 2-4 months its probably time to harvest.

make sure when you do harvest that you dont get to anxious and sample it. from what ive read, you must cure or dry out your herb for a few weeks, otherwise itll be harsh and.. well im not sure but its best to dry it out; haha

i hope that helped you a little =]
