http://www.toolband.com/ I don't know about you people, but I'm completely pumped about this new addition to the Tool reperatoire. It's not every day the greatest Progressive/ Alternative Metal band releases an album. I may be feeding into the capitalist machine by buying this album, but damn it it's worth it.
Just got mine... it kicks royal ass, from the artwork(lenses are an awesome addition) to the music. Sounds a bit like Laturalus with an Opiate sound also. Its defiantely different in its own way, and I cant wait until they go on tour, hopefully they will
damn i ordered it from '(SC)amzon' .... sooo i wait. yea for tickets to the show!!! im excited about taht... for sure
Album is fucking amazing. Not my favorite yet, but it's awesome. Harder, more like Undertow in my opinion, but it's got elements of other albums, but you can tell this is a new direction. I suggest "Jambi" and "Right in Two"
amazon does not have shipping charges for orders more than 25 dollars, I have more albums I ordered as well.
I'm listening to it right now.... fucking awesome. I really like Lost Keys(Blame Hofmann), and Wings for marie.
Doesn't matter how old the man is, the creative genious isn't lost man... I guess I just wish they'd go back to the plateau they were on in Lateralus; metaphysics and beyond-abstract thought. This new one just kinda addresses "real" issues. ha
My husband just got the new Tool album. And while I've been more of a APC fan, I have to admit that I like Tool's 10,000 days quite a bit. And the artwork with the 3D effect is totally awesome!
the artwork is phenominal! but i havent heard the music...i was just looking at the copy my friend got.
yeah walmart wont sell uncensored albums, but this tool album isnt explicit anyway, at least not enough to get a parental advisory and cut copies. walmart is stupid really. i could go on for days about it, but since this is a tool thread i wont.
im debating whether or not to listen to it when i get it... or to wait until after the show on the 21st. i think curiousity will get me... but im not really in a tool mood. sep: the reference to age was just in reply to the guess of age by a previous poster. i think that you can always develop your artistic skill. it does matter though if you are a singer, if you take bob dylan for instance. he couldnt really sing so hot in the first place and now his voice is so much... worse. dont get me wrong i love dylan and i think that he exagerrates his razpy voice ... but... anyways... i think that older singers need to stop at a certain age, when their vocal cords are ... OLD and dont perform in the same way they used to, unless they can work with that... and maynard would be a good exampl of that... ramble ramble ramble
because to go to another cd store I'd probably have to pay 20 bucks, and drive another 30 minutes and deal with traffic....just not gonna happen.
