What do YOU do with harsh smoke? (And i've already given the trash can ample consideration ~ it's just that this stuff is good, but it's just harsh as trying to smoke MACE! rofl )

Drink something cold after each hit. Thats what I do and it works pretty well.

i think if your weed is so harsh that it hurts whenever you smoke it then theres something fucked with your weed.

I would smoke it through ice. That's the best way to cool the smoke. I have to do that a lot because my lungs are fragile and I cough all the time.

Thanks for all the suggestions ~ a bong filled with ice water is helping immensely!

I use cepecal sore throat spray, 3 good sprays down the throat and you'r throat will be numb enough to take the harshest smoke imagineable. I'd still suggest a bong with ice water, because if your throat is raw you'll feel it when the medacine wears off.

You do realize though... if you use ice or ice cold water in your bong you'll get a lesser amount of THC...... just stick with room temp water.... the filtering from the water should smooth out the smoke.... if not... find some different weed bro

    THC doesnt dissolve in water.

Put a peice of peppermint in your mouth while you are smoking, cuts out on bad breath, marijuana breath, and calms the harshness somewhat, Thats what I do, I always cary a shit load with me when I go to smoke because I get to craving them because the sweetness is amplified like 10000 times and its so good to hear and feel the crunch when im really baked.

Actually, i have this (to most folks) bizarre theory about mints...

i believe that mints GIVE you bad breath, if you use/eat mint stuff all the time.

Also, i KNOW mints will give you gas, and, brother, you've never smelled 'foul' until you've smell a mint toot!

i will say that i keep mint tea on hand for tummy upsets, and when i put iced mint tea in my water pipe, it's smooth as silk!

Oh! And if you'll check out my post over in the 'Show Your Piece' forum, you can see what i got this morning!
