The sun is shining on a very hot spring day
Laying in the heat with nothing to get in my way
Putting flowers in my hair without a care
Dancing to the rythum of the bass drum, dancing in circles; my arms in the air, body spinning faster and faster
My eyes are closed so gently, for if I open them the music will vanish

wow! my housemate is kinda a hippy chick and she's also deaf. she likes to dance though and she does it by listening to the bass or the bass drum and one day last summer i awoke on a really sunny day to find her dancing in the kitchen with her eyes closed.
this really brought me back to that moment.

but what really polished this piece off for me was the last line:
"My eyes are closed so gently, for if I open them the music will vanish"
after thought of how it feels to be her, i realised that with her eyes open she would pay less attention to whats coming through her ears (which would need much attention) and so the music would vanish.

sorry if this seems really random.
    brilliant work :)
