I saw it, i thought the U2 thing was kind of outrageous though.

I find it irritating how a band like U2 can get into the hall of fame, when lynyrd skynyrd still is not there! thats totally unfair, although the hall of fame really means nothing to me, too much politics involved, but it is symbolic, but the people who choose and vote can still kiss my ass...........

 

I know... the Hollies should be in there too. We already have the byrds and buffalo springsfield in there. If we get the Hollies in, then all the members of CSN(Y)'s first real break bands will be hall of famers. I signed the petition for itttt... as well as buddy guy, but the hollies haven't gotten in yet, either.

 

why would Lyryrd Skynrd be in there? There are many other bigger names that have never made it...

i really wouldnt spend the money to sit there and watch cars drive around a track for a couple hours. its probly fun to be drivin but watchin... not so much. o right and on topic i kinda wished Bono would just shut up, he kept talking for a long time they needed to have an orchestra cut off like any other big award show.

thats your personal opinion. i think they have alot of good songs, such as saturday night special or the ballad of curtis loew. and even though its way overplayed, freebird is still a song everyone recognizes and means alot to some people. they just get discriminated against cause they get associated with whitetrash and the such. but whatever, fuck you hippies

Simple man by Lynard Skynard is alright, I kinda like that song but thats it. Sweet Home Alabama has got to be the most over rated song ever. Overall, he doesn't deserve to get into the hall.

I hope the Hollies get in though, same with the Allman Brothers. Are the Outlaws in the hall?
