doesnt beat the karate kid! the original movie was so inspirational, cant say much about the succesors, especially that sequel with hillary swank as THE karate kid.
yes nothing beats the originals of both Karate Kid and Rocky series. i loved the first Karate Kid. I loved the first Rocky. The other Rocky's were alright, #4 was awesome, but nothign can compare to the original Rocky.
you do remember that song that was playing while he was fighting in the tournament against the cobras right?? all those blonde headed kids right before that one kid sweeps daniels leg after his sensai told him to??
I agree with that. the rest of them are snooze fests especially that one with that boxer from kansas city, tommy morrison (tommy gunn in the movie)..... I dont recall which numbered series it was. anyways, everyone loves cinderella stories, loves to see the unfortunate succeed and win.
That's good that it inspired you but that doesn't make the movie good. American Idol inspires millions every day.
you dont see anyone on american idol singing "youre the best around, nothings ever going to keep you down" now do ya?? didnt think so.
Forrest Gump had a couple of good motivational songs. especially when he was running.. I think that was actually meant to parody Rocky a little bit
the lyrics in one of eminems songs went "thats why we sing for these kids who dont have athing, cept for a dream and fuckin rap magazine who post pin up pictures on their walls all day long idolize their favorite rapers and know all their songs or for anyone whos ever been through shit in their lives, so they sit and they cry at night wishen theyd die till they throw on a rap record and they sit and they vibe, were nothin to you, but were the fuckin shit in their eyes thats why we cease the moment try to squeez it and hold it freeze it and mold cuz we consider these minutes golden, and maybe theyll remember when were gone just let our spirit live on through the lyrics that you hear in our songs" and it gave me the chills! every tim i heard it. i dont listen to rap anymore. =p
It's all about Eye of the Tiger! When I hear that tune, I feel like putting on boxing gloves and punching frozen meat on a hook
