Alright so for the past couple days I've been having really really painful sharp shooting pains in my stomach. At first I just thought they were cramps (I was suppost to get my period the beginning of this month-still haven't) but these don't feel like any cramps I've had before...they seem to come for a couple minutes at a time and leave... any ideas?

Are you allergic to anything you have eaten? Sounds stupid but it might be worth checking out!
    Good luck!

ummm...go to a really nice doctor...get them to check it out further....an ultrasound should be able to say whether anything is seriously wrong or whether you have to look for a different way to deal with stuff...gambatte!!

You could have a cyst on one of your ovaries.

I get cramps like this sometimes. Simethicone (Phazyme, Gas-Ex, etc) works great for me. If simethicone doesn't help, you may need an antispasmodic medication to get over this, such as Bentyl or Donnatal, which are prescription only.

If it hurts like menstral cramps, I'd say it's probably constipation. From time to time I get these so severe that I've fallen trying to get to my room. When they get bad enough, I get dizzy and have horrendous hot flashes that are so uncomfortable they actually result in me taking my clothes off.

If you get to this point, be careful... and I'm serious. Every time I've fallen I've ended up hitting my head on a wall, the corner of a door jam or some piece of furniture. It's almost like being parylized, I can't even hold my hands out to catch myself even though I know I'm going to fall before I do.

Anyway, I suggest drinking as much water as humanly possible for about a week.

And FYI to everyone, you can still have bowel movements while constipated... so take care of yourself or you'll end up like me!
